Great video Mike. I started this year with a live scope and am learning many new things I didn’t know. Truman lake is a hoot to fish, but my home water is Missouri/Iowa border.
Power poles for the win. I had about the same experience this morning up here on Smithville. Fish just didn't want to eat. But I couldn't hold still like you did and harass them enough. Not without scaring them off or drifting away. Still managed 9. Do you think that skinny water made your targets look bigger? Seemed like your jig and minnow looked bigger on the screen as well...could just be the settings but i didn't know if the shallower water had that effect?
Great video Mike I sure miss fishing Truman I live on Grandlake Oklahoma now it fishes like Loz I thought you had a power pole Trolling Motor. Have you had issues with it. I see you’re running a ultrex now. Thanks and keep those crappie videos coming. 😎
Can you share the model number of the rod you’re using? I contacted B&M and they said the only bait caster rods they had were 5.5” rods and that the 10’ plus rods were all spinning rods. Obviously your rod with the bait cast reel is longer than 5’5”. Thanks
Hi Mike, have you tried the Powerbait Crappie Nibbles with glitter/sparkles? Those have really earned my respect lately. Triggers bites for me when nothing else will! I think the glitter is the trigger!?
Thanks for the livescope video Mike. You seem to be one of only a few that does it anymore. You’re also one of the best at it and we certainly appreciate it!
@@citrusaroma I don’t fish LOZ during the warmer months of the year any more because the pleasure boat traffic is too bad. I don’t have a home on LOZ any more and I am not going to drive there to fish for a couple of hours in the morning before the big boats come out. I love to fish it in the winter.
Enjoyed you video. What type of rod are you using? I'm using a BnM The Stick. I'm looking at getting another rod. You still use braid with a fluorocarbon leader?
I always look forward to watching your videos. They are always very informative, entertaining and well put together. Also just the right length. I bought a set of B&M Sams Super Salt rods and HH reels to pull crankbaits here in TN. I noticed you no longer have the HH reels on those rods. Just wondering why you changed the reels?
Nothing at all wrong with the HH Reels. I just have a sentimental attachment to these Diawa reels. I have had them for probably over 30 years and they just keep on working.😀
Mike, just curious what video cameras you use and what film editing software you using? I grew up fishing Truman and Lake of Ozarks. I'm down here in Texas on Belton Lake now. Love your videos.
