I bought a 1984 ford pickup in 1994 and it sets outside rain or snow. The front chrome bumper still does not show any signs of rust except for some rust on the back side where it was never chromed.
@@546268 Very nice work mate indeed! Not sure I have those skills as woodwork and metalwork did not go too well for me in skool lololol. Keep up the good work, your car looks fine. Hoping to get my 72 on the road soon Cheers!
@@Blondejam I was told I was not one of natures craftsmen! Now though I regularly make stuff out of wood. It’s just about finding a way round your shortcomings. For example I just cannot saw in a straight line, so I use a circular saw running along a straight edge.

Hi Andy, great to see the Tiger eventually get safely home. Great video mate and thank you for the positive shout out mate, much appreciated and glad to hear and see that you're happy with your new toy. That gravel and shingle will play havoc with the tracks, but glad you managed to replace the damaged link. It was great to have met you mate and hope you continue to enjoy. Catch up soon.
You might want to google the name of the company founder. I'll just say that it stung a bit when you mentioned that he ran the company with his daughter. Anyway, I hope you had some extra Quick-Glo on hand, because the company is out of business.
Hi, I was just about to buy the Dakota2 150 liter model. Priced at £560, but I'm glad I found this video. I have read a lot about these models with the same engine and there is always the same problem, head gasket. For example, ABAC has the same problem in the same engine. And they also warn not to buy it because after a year the ABAC PRO A39B 150FM3 model has the same problem. And this is true because I had this compressor and returned it. My old clarke compressor was almost 30 years old and worked without any problems, and somehow the head gasket is still good today. It seems to me that all these compressors from this series with these twin engines are one big crap, just look at their construction, they all look almost the same. I don't know where in England you can buy a good quality compressor and is it even possible? Regards and thank you for the warning.
Did the original motor work? Ive took one apart off a clarke compressor to clean out it was simple inside and nicely made (from around 1989). i Is the compressor still running okay?.
Andrew I am building the Land Rover like and I now have both axles completed. I decided to install the motion at the same time to get more stability on the axles. Next task for me will be to look at fixing them to the frame but I will wait a bit to see how you do it! Keep going!
