Had a similarly frustrating time with mine. Thankfully I never snapped any bolts/studs, but I really struggled to get the DP out in one piece. I didn’t wanna risk cutting it as it’s my daily so I’m waiting a few more weeks to reattampt. Bought a sawzall for when I inevitably throw in the towel.
if you want to get it out without cutting it you have to lower your trans, but if you decide to cut it you have plenty of space just don’t rush and have a second set of hands makes it so much easier
@@Project_290 yeah that’s the plan. I don’t wanna deal with dropping the trans lol. Thanks for the advice. One last question, did you reuse the L bracket between the DP and MP or did you just not replace it? Mine had 1 big one (it’s XWD) and I never reattached it. Wondering if you reattached it?
Ayyy, im looking into doing a mid pipe for my aero, i got vibrant mufflers, bottle resonator both 2.5 inch, and now im working on getting a GS catless midpipe. Great video btw!
This car is low mile and I take care of it, have not had any issues. I do own another one that's silver and it was an electrical nightmare, the previous owner did not maintain it well and it shows
My Saab averages a little under $2k a year for dealer maintenance (including tires & everything). I think if you did the work yourself this could be close to or under $1k.
Sounds good. I had a 2015 435i with a stage 2 tune, and others bolt ons. I got hit by some clown texting and totalled it out. I bought a stock M4.The 435i felt like it had the edge on take off but the M4 in the long run was quicker.
