UBCO was founded on the idea of a rugged Utility Electric Vehicle (UEV) that would transform the way people ride, work, and play. UBCO has rapidly developed into a digitally connected UEV platform. Leveraging the benefits of modern electric drive and battery technology, UBCO’s platform includes on-road and off-road electric adventure vehicles (the 2×2), accessories, and software. We provide a complete solution, from an individual user to a fleet manager across a wide range of applications.

With a max speed of 30mph, the 2X2 is classed as a moped in most US states and countries like NZ and Australia. In most regions, riders just need a driver's license to ride rather than a motorcycle license meaning more accessibility. Our US Hunt Edition does have a boost mode to 40mph. Check with your local licensing agency.
Registered as……? I’m going to say Motorcycle Rego right? And a motorcycle license. And insurance. I’d have endless uses for one but only as an E-bike. So, not gunna happen.
Hi David - at this stage the DUTY bike is only available for large scale fleets including those in NZ. If you're an individual you can register your interest for the bike below and then we'll let you know if it does become available to the public. share.hsforms.com/1qhmhX78BTXW_EaSGspCqAg3263h
You'll be able to find the full list of specifications including the accessories that the Hunt Edition comes with here - ubco.com/products/2x2-hunt-edition
FYI, it doesn't come with a ratchet strap even though they show it here. I just ordered mine and there's just a bunch of bungee cords which won't really keep it secure when going down the bumpy highway. I went to the nearest motorcycle place and bought some straps. I recommend editing the video so people don't accidentally assume it comes with a ratchet strap :).
Crazy-frenetic video that's too hectic to make much sense at all. I appreciate UBCO is into the Great Outdoors market but I long to see UBCO develop a specifically urban model that carries the practical load-carrying frame design into a commuting package or one suitable for an 80km/hr ride on out-of-town roads - along the lines of the Fonzarelli NKD? I wonder too if UBCO can have a rear-wheel-drive-only model - I struggle to see the sense of 2WD outside rough and slippery terrain. Electric cars cost too much and practical urban electric bikes make a heap of sense. What about it UBCO?
I can reach my hunting destinations more quietly with this, but if I kill a deer I would still need a four-wheeler to carry it out with. Would be interested if there were a trailer available with this!
Hi, our bikes are designed for all types of terrains including hills thanks to the AWD! We have plenty of happy customers using these every day in harsh environments that would push most bikes to their max! Check out some of the other videos on our channel to see the bike in action.
I am interested in getting one of these for commuting and riding around town, but am concerned about the performance on hills. I live at the top of a 2km hill with slopes of up to 10-15 degrees and am wondering I I'd be able to maintain 50kph up a hill like that?
Hey Mark - sorry for the late reply and thanks for the question. Check out some of the case studies on our website showing the different uses for the bike. The 1kW motor in each wheel helps to power up the hills including the world's steepest street Baldwin Street, New Zealand at 19 degrees. ubco.com/blogs/blog
This is a terrible product video. What's the range? What's the battery size? Are those tubeless tires? What's the load capacity? None of these IMPORTANT questions are answered here leading me to think it's more gimmick than actual functionality.

As a Farmer on Big Island Hawaii, this would be perfect for Farm Chores and Hunting the Boar! I wonder if I can strap a gutted Boar on the back and ride out of the Forest so i dont need to carry it so far
