My brain is kind of running wild imagining a Periphery cover of Strapping Young Lad's "Skeksis", that was my intro to Devin, and just *_holy shit, man._*
As a long time metal head, now deep into my 30’s, In Flames has became my #1 metal band. They have such a diverse catalogue that has bangers all the way through, and some classic albums that are 10/10. Anders is better than ever live, their new material is great, Chris Broderick, Tanner Wane, and Liam Wilson play beautifully together live. To me, they are the best live metal band to see live. Their wide spectrum of music keeps the show interesting. Put it this way, u never miss an In Flames show if they’re in town. Hell, I’ve seen in out of town (3 different states to be exact.) On top of all that, they’re such great guys. Hope they keep grinding for years to come and give us even more new music. In Flames we trust!
It's hard for me to say 'I feel sorry for Tim Lambesis'. After this interview it's hard for me to NOT say 'I feel sorry for Tim Lambesis' . It's quite clear he feels TREMENDOUS guilt. He should, but there needs to be a day, ya know.....a bit further down the road, where he, regardless of how anyone else feels, must forgive himself. He knows it was a terrible situation/idea but as far as I'm concerned, he did what he did, was arrested, shamed, but did his time..... case closed!!! Hang in there, Tim. Just heal, breath, and carry on, sir.
So I’ve heard burden and the cave we dare to enter before seeing this interview. I’m with Tim, and I even told my fiancé this after the cave we fear to enter dropped yesterday. This is by far Ryan’s best vocal performance. He sounds amazing on both singles, and I can’t wait to hear more.
The message is true. It’s so true that big brother has to slap a stupid mental health warning on the video. We’re living in brave new world, DO NOT normalize this medication answer for every conceivable ailment garbage. Love you Jasta, reign supreme!
Throwdown hails from my stomping grounds in Orange County California, i had the pleasure of seeing them open for Danzig back in 09' they were an absolute staple for me growing up,i listened to them non stop when i would warm up during my high school wrestling tournaments.
I heard this on the radio. The moment Besmonov's rules were referenced, I knew I had to hear this again. Hold fast to yourself, raise children, and don't die. Death is a staunch revolutionary and favors the long game.
It struck me while I was listening to this that I have been a Hatebreed fan for nearly 30 years but somehow managed to never have to hear Jamie talk about anything at length and oh boy do I wish I could go back to that. Jamie comes off as massively out of touch, it was like he refused to ask important questions…he did this entire interview on easy mode and came off as just cowardly and almost petty. I’m super disappointed with this, but props to the AILD guy for being a good sport about all of this. I have not been into their music since high school but was very interested to hear what he had to say.
just want to give thanks to jasta for this interview, and asking questions i never would think to ask anders, in my interactions with him at meet & greets. the anniversary question was funny. ALSO youtuber The Neologist did a cover album of in flames stuff, and Nikola Cvetkovic also did a piano album of in flames covers all really top tier stuff \m/! THANK YOU JASTA!
I can't even watch this with how poorly Jasta delivers questions. Stick to music because you clearly don't prep for interviews, nor can you ask them at a reasonable pace
Lets face it , most men have wanted to do that to their wife at some point . Ha Really tho, i do hope with all my heart his ex is doing ok . God bless her and the fact she is still alive . And same for tim . Not only has his music inspired me but also who he has turned into as a grown man. Much love guys. Watch out for BETWEEN THE SOUL AND EYE in the near future . We are getting our first album together . This is a side account but a few of you want to sub our page i promise it will be worth the wait .
