Enjoyed the tour. My wife and I met in this dorm our first week of freshman year, 43 years ago. I lived in “the cave” on A2 and she lived on B2. Back then B2 was an all girls floor. The basement laundry room looks the same. Dorm furniture is of course “newer”. The lounge area on the second floor was a tv room back then as well. It also had a snack bar window where we could buy anything from hot choc to popcorn. It was run and staffed by the students. Back then we painted our own murals on the hallway walls. No east Lothian. That area was all grass-great for outdoor activities. Fun days. We were married the week after we graduated. UCR back then had about 5000 total students. Room and Board in the dorms was 500 bucks a quarter. Tuition was abt 200 bucks per qtr for a full workload. Fun times!
Laura Dang There is enough space under the bed for storage bins without bed risers. Unless you are bringing A LOT of stuff to the dorm, you probably won't need to bring too much additional storage as there is plenty of space with the closet, dresser, and drawers under the desk.
thanks for this video! me and my buddies are deciding between the three residence halls now.... so having this more up to date video as a reference for west lothian makes up for the out of date / negative reputation it got.
