@@AlfonsoEsquivez flat bench will destroy your shoulders. Just a fact but most gotta find out the hard way. You can overcome most injuries but a shoulder can be a game changer and fk you up for life.
Yeah I get you , at first that’s how it was for me I felt uncomfortable but you just gotta mess around with it till you find the right position, you’d be surprised how much strength you get from using leg drive, and the belt helps me from not getting lower back pain
@@stavroskots5652 well took me almost a year to be able to touch anything over 405 last time was last year in December hit 435 max pr then tour my labrum doing activities didn’t bench for 4 months got back to bench July anything over 225 my shoulder would hurt but been doing little bench past 3 months and was able to barely hit 405 after almost a year
@@aaronphan8322 cause his form could be improved. It would be more impressive with conventional form and full ROM on shoulder press. It’s still good but I was make saying it would be more impressive that way. Duh.
I mean bro you got strength, you can still pull something in you back, hips, etc because you lack full range, so your and muscles are only strong at short range. You’ll be much stronger overall if you go full range and start hitting lifts that actually matter to body strength building 💪🏼
@@calebshudark8579 been doing block pull to get my body used to heavier loads and work on my lock out , from my knees up is my weakness, I already pulled 750 without the blocks, those blocks at 1 1/2
Bro got that 6 inch range of motion. Which is really quite a lot by the way. Actually too much. Would be way too uncomfortable. I think a 3 inch range of motion would be way better.
First footage... No straps, conventional, stiff bar, no elevation. Second footage... Straps, sumo, flexible deadlift bar, elevated barbell. You certainly did get stronger but not as much as you think. Use a stiff bar and you won't lift more than 550 lbs. Remove elevation and you won't move more than 500 lbs. Do it conventional and you'll be lucky if you lift 450 lbs.
Damn, I know this feeling, I almost saw jesus like this, my "spotter", wasnt strong enough to lift the bar thay was already on my neck alone, I was lucky to have had a pretty big guy next to me that stopped his workout and helped us put it back and then told me to never use grippers while trying out my max bench again, i'm lucky he was there, since my gym is usually kind of empty.
Oh damn lol I’m glad you’re okay tho!, but yes never ever put on clamps on bench when your alone, that way you can dump the weights and not get crushed
