Hi Sadie, I’m looking to do 2 week course for level 2. Do you know if they run session this summer around august. And I just want to ask how was your overall experience. Thanksss
Hi! I’m not sure about their scheduling tbh, you would have to check with them! As for my experience, it’s been great overall, I definitely need to get back into it but I’ve had to step away from it a little bit due to limited time but it’s a great thing that I’m able to do that and there’s no pressure to work on it when I can’t find the time! If you have any specific questions, let me know!
I asked my partner what they were comfortable with but as it was a girl of similar build to me, I was also able to estimate based on myself but when estimating I also reduced it a little to be on the safe side!
I'm most of the way through my level 3 but I've also been working on the CPD courses. I need to make sure I prioritise it all a lot more though, I really want to pass my level 3 this year! So far, on the course work side, it's all quite similar but it requires a lot more detail and asks you questions that they don't give you the answers to if that makes sense - you have to answer them based on experience and what you think is best in the eyes of a PT!
@@itssadieellis Nah honestly you were a saviour and I passed forgot a few things but the assessor must of liked me. Good luck with your future career 🫶
@@jackdeboer9853 that makes me so happy, that's great, well done! Like I said, they're very understanding of you being nervous - it's all part of it. Thank you, you too!
iPhone sounds like a good idea 👍. Thanks for answering my silly questions, my practical is on Saturday, so there might be another question before then 😂.
@@itssadieellisI passed and I used my iPhone stopwatch. All the studying paid off and the instructor was very nice and patient. Thanks for your help. On to level 3 🎉
That's a great way to spend Saturdays, I need to run more often. Kinda hard, though, with this injury. 😅 But keep up the great work. Love the scenery, by the way. It looks absolutely beautiful.
It’s honestly the best, that really sucks about your injury but you’ll get there! I’ve actually started trail running recently, so I found even more beautiful scenery 🤩
@itssadieellis Thank you 😊 this injury happened when I was still in the service, so it's been a couple of years now, and I'm able to do leg workouts, but running really impacts the knees. Trail running sounds very peaceful, I'll have to try it one day. Well, trail walk for now. 😅 thank you for all your content. Never stop.
@@antoniopineda5053 Have you been to a physio? If you haven't already, please do! Yes you definitely have to try trail walking, there's a great app I've been using called AllTrails which I where I've been getting all of my routes from. Thank you so much, that means more than you know 🫶
@itssadieellis I haven't yet, but I'm definitely going to, and I'll check out that app too, I love being outside and in the gym. And it's no problem at all. I'm all about spreading positivity and motivation and talking to great people.
@@antoniopineda5053 yes definitely do, especially if you've dealt with a long term injury! It's a really good app, it does rely on people in your area posting trail routes but you can find some really wonderful routes! That's so lovely to hear :)
I smoke , drink , lifting weights everyday and??.. Btw also working as a rough carpenter and I don’t think that’s addiction It’s responsibility and thing called “ life”
I definitely wasn’t addicted and I’m not saying that at all, drinking is absolutely fine in moderation but personally I don’t think getting smashed every weekend and smoking is a positive lifestyle and I wanted to change that. It’s great that you’re lifting weights though but you might find some limitations in your progress from smoking, it’s just something to consider!
@@itssadieellis totally agree My response was towards those who mentioned addiction… having fun,few smokes and drinks once in awhile doesn’t make people addicted
@@Limp2000 Ah I see, sorry for the confusion, yeah I definitely wasn't addicted and I'm not sure where people got that from, it was just a change of lifestyle!
That's amazing, I'm glad you changed and are taking much better care of your health. I'm sure it was a great change mentally, too. Fitness is what saved my life. Keep up the great work.
This isn't just a vanity procedure, I actually found out that I am underdeveloped in that area, it's a specific condition where I didn't develop properly in puberty!
Evening I changed my picture back!! But seeing this picture if you tonight it’s a super big positive smile from me keep looking up and down. You are super gorgeous and fit too.. the rest I keep to myself 😊😊😊 I love ur tattoos on you. Anyway I see you doing pretty good with the swimming 600m Jesus!! And running 30k a pop that’s big positive minded I am so happy that you are going for it 😊😊 where’s the donation I like to do my part in this. Thank you for the little bits in the week make my day go beautiful and sweet!! From ur positive vibes. I got a new dog he’s 2/half years old a paterdale from north wales he is been bad treated for 2 half years of is life. Since I had him and the lovely positive vibes from you to it got me back up loads to the level I was 12 months ago 😊😊 thanks Sadie I be there all the way with you on the run and anything you need in real life as well. ❤❤
Thank you so much! That’s so kind of you! If you go to my week 1 of ultra marathon training video, the donation link is in the description! That’s so wonderful to hear, I’m glad you’re happy with your new dog 🫶🏻
Great video! were you given information about the health and safety of the venue etc. before the assessment so that you could use this in your meet and greet with the client? Also were the machines easy to use such as treadmill? I'm fairly experienced in the gym but in a new environment I'm not sure I would know every machine. Is it possible to ask the assessor for help in such a situation?
Thank you! Yes, they told us the health and safety information right before we started. And yes, I found them really easy to use, the only issue I came across was trying to locate things in the gym. If you’re able to go to the gym beforehand and have a look around, I would definitely recommend!
