Got mine off Amazon so I didn’t get a trading card with it, but damn that record is beautiful! Now I just need to get a decent record player to play it!
Someone she knows: is that book good? Her: yes! The person she knows 3 hours later: why couldn’t I find any of the books you read at the bookstore? Her: oh, they just didn’t release yet. The person: (is confused)
Nice review. :) If you get a chance, and haven’t yet, check out his Peculiar Children series (6 books, and 2 companion books). It’s incredible! Forget the Tim Burton movie of the first book (although I like it for what it is), the books are so much better. Just as Harry Potter books are to their movies. Also, since I’m here, I’ll name a few others. Abarat, by Clive Barker. There’s 3 books out in its series, and a fourth and fifth were mentioned years ago before he got so sick. Not sure about them now. But the first three are amazing reads. The Hunger Games trilogy was fantastic. I haven’t read the prequel yet.
There was a lot of repetitive dialogue that, at times, felt tedious. Overall, it's a good read, but stuff like that just really gets old after the 6th time a line is said. 😅 But that's just my opinion.
I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as the other two because of the main character shift, but I actually had a really good time and the second half completely surpassed my expectations. 🩷
@@kayceeisbookishI Recently Finished Wisteria This Morning and gave it 5/5 stars I Absolutely Loved It and pairing it with the audiobook was absolutely fantastic 📖🙂🎧
