The type of jigs depends on many factors. The water depth, the current, the type of fish you are targeting. For e.g. for diamond trevallies, smaller jigs will be more effective. You can also use the same methods, it is just that the bites will be much lower compared to on a boat as you are only fixed at one spot while boats can travel around. More active fishing rather than passive.
