I have always cast the golf club with poor results. Not releasing too early and rotating the forearms is crucial and you have motivated me to practice this skill. Thank you
Too much weight on heels at address…you’ll then move toward your toes I the downswing. Too flat of a backswing - you’ll over extend in the downswing I actually address the ball just off the hossel with my wedge. It influences me to NOT hit the hossel.
It is said that when you shank the ball you are achieving the most perfect swing since the fundamental rule for every golfer is to swing the shaft. ‘Just sayin’. 😔

George Knudson always suggested on the toe. One of the best ball strikers of all time. The professionals that put the ball on the heel have some sort of early extension and standing up through the shot.
