## About This Channel I am Lighton Phiri. Unlike my main channel [1], which I use to upload technical and work-related content, this is a fragment---brand---channel. I primarily use it to upload raw video footage of random POV shots of places I visit and, additionally, outdoor activities I enjoy undertaking---hiking, bicycle/motorcycle rides, and fishing. The footage is primarily from places I have lived long-term [...]
## Content Style My vlogging style is simple: I shoot "First Person View" POV footage to showcase the world as I see it. Hopefully, this will enable you to appreciate the beauty I see in the world.
## Content Location As of December 2017, I have permanently relocated back to my home country---Zambia---so the footage on here will largely be from Zambia.
## Experiments I am currently experimenting with automatic segmentation of video content, so some short video footage might not have properly defined start and end points
22 years and ndola looks the same? Very few minor changes here and there. Where does the money from Copper go? No wonder Africa is not respected by the world. We are stagnant, we plan poorly when it comes to city planning. We let them take advantage of us, we don't know how to govern ourselves and our people. Chiluba sold everything, and the ones that came after him just made themselves richer. This is sad. Invite manufacturing back to ndola or forever live stagnant.
I am surprised you made it that far 😁 That track is "Don't by Modecaii ZM" [1] [1] ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gwedW5ThmfI.htmlsi=AvYx8MLpPV94Zehl
@LightonPhiriVlogs always enjoy the entire raw videos too...I'm not in Zambia and just watching these brings me some peace because I really miss it and brings back memories
I was literally in Siavonga 2 weeks ago. Camping at Lotri Bay and Eagle's Rest. That place is so tranquil. Great for cycling that's for sure. Good video man!
Tranquil indeed! This was my second time there and I equally love it there; except for the humidity! I cycle often, but cycling in Siavonga was tough, really really tough. Thank you for watching!
Hey brother, I had missed your videos & it’s good to find one from you again. Good too that most places are now looking nice & clean since most street vendors are no longer on the streets. Hope all the open drainages will be covered & be used by pedestrians & cyclists. Lovely to see that Napsa Riverview park with made up roads. Hope they’ve planned it well.
Happy New Year 🎊 It's good to be back! Work got in the way of things and before I even knew it, it was almost a year since my last upload. Riverview Park seems well thought through; I was just disappointed that there is not much activity.
Hello my friend, you shared a very good and wonderful video. I wish you success and have a happy new day. Chim Canh Viet: hello and see you again my beloved friend 🌷🌷🌷🌷💖💖💖💖👍🏻👍🏻
Michelo! Happy 2024! It really has been a while. Work has kept me on my toes these last couple of weeks. I am doing fine: life has been good to me. I hope you have been well yourself? I am hoping I can catch up with your vlogs also!
Susan! Hello. I don't think there is a cycling club in Chudleigh, but we could always start one 🙂 I cycle every day; we should plan to do a circuit together soon. Do you want to email me on lightonDOTphiriATgmailDOTcom?
This night footage is absolutely beautiful. I'm happy they speak English on your radio stations because I'm from the USA hoping to move to Zambia in the near future. I only speak English.
Glad you are considering Zambia as a possible destination. When are you planning to move? You will be glad to learn that the official language in Zambia is English and as such, you will NOT have difficulties interaction with people: the average person you bump into has some conversational English speaking skill. Best wishes as you plan your move and do let me know if you need help and feel I can assist!
Chilenje is arguable a "lower-middle class" suburb and so if you are coming to Zambia for the first time, you do not want to stay there. I would highly recommend the following places for a first-timer visiting Zambia: *1. Kabulonga:* ru-vid.com/group/PLQ8BuZZ-r8dodbyL52CU2gjOFezZORpql *2. Why is the hospital still not working. Politic aside people lets move forward. PF this was good work and UPND let the facility function you can employ more if you stop looking at this buildings with a political eye.
@mutaleedahchisanga9949 Aha I remember you 😄 How is Nyanje? I plan to pass through Nyanje the next time I am in Eastern Province and definitely ask more questions
