This episode of Top Gear used two MkII Robins, one rigged to roll, and the other rigged to wheelie, and is a major source of misinformation about Reliant three wheelers, for which there was three models, the Regal, the Robin, and, the Rialto.
They really rolled out the wagon in series 15. I remember episode 1 was one of the most jam packed episodes of TG I've ever seen ( barring the specials of course . Its hilarious to hear jeremy say we try to pls those who want us to be sensible since they basically chucked it out the window 😂
I can believe them when they said they didnt film anything because its reflected in the series itself, which was a bit of a letdown. Only 2 good challenges was that jag train and jeremy driving in the xj across england. Did end on a good note with the India Special tho.
i was just watching a video about hammond and how his career played out in full, and then i come across this and i can't help but feel a sense of pride for these people. Even though i've never met them and probably never will, hearing the theme song played in this big of an award show really puts in perspective how monumental these people were at their heyday for culture in general. i've been watching Top Gear since 2003 or so and i never ever thought that this funny show that i like would actually reach a point were its enjoyed by millions and millions of people from every single walk of life. Thank you for everything boys.
