Winning the crowd had always been apart of battle rap. These guys are elite period. They can turn on complex schemes when they want. Lux is elite, but he also has learned when to present that, not every battle needs to be complex. Have you ever been to a battle? If the crowd don’t matter and if stage performance don’t matter then battle in a small room or battle over the phone. Bars matter of course but if everyone has bars then you need to have other things like cadence, projection, flow, crowd control. You think Cassidy the first battler to get booed . Nah that's not true...I used to promote, Cassidy can always do shows. He not gonna get industry touring money. But he can get 5k for a show. He can tour whenever just based of the records hes sold. There's no flow, no rhythm, just talking in rhymes & that's when they make it rhyme, there's no structure niggas tagging in their brothers and homies to finish lines. It's very borderline rapping.
