went today and it was my first car meet since 2021 trax at silverstone and i went with my dad who is 56 and every car we passed he knew everything about it he knew what year what’s been done to it why it’s different then others and i loved it i made a lot of memories there with my dad as he showed me the love for cars and what makes them so special i already liked cars but compared to my father it’s like i knew fuck all about them he loved being around the novas and the old ford’s as those are the cars he had when he was around late 20s early 30s and showed me pictures and i never knew he had those type of cars but it was amazing there
im the dickhead at 1.51 in a bright green t shirt 😂😂 got smashed by wasps all day apart from that was brilliant!! Hope to see u there sunday brother ill be in the mk3 astra saab swap 😂😂
As much nostalgia as that kind of meet brings back from the old days of south Wales and Cheltenham of a weekend night it's not something I'd ever want to go to which is sad as its a good cause .there's a reason the more civilised meets are more popular now .
Summed it up perfectly there. Was not what I was expecting in the slightest but travelled there so stayed a bit like and got some content (when in Rome right?) and then left when things got silly. Good cause, just not a civilised family meet like it should have been.
@@SupercarSpeeders I think backstreet venues will always attract the more lively crowd ,even the high end meets get a little but it's generally more respectable . Hopefully they can build from it . I know a few others actually invite the police in a relaxed capacity for people to talk to and it helps calm things down
The Merlin is the supercharged aero version of the engine. It makes around 1500hp, depending on fuel quality. The Meteor is non-supercharged, and was used in tanks, such as the Centurion family of vehicles. It makes about 600-650bhp.
