Big revelation... asking the Pres of Politico if they were biased and in part responible for turning American politics into the sh*t show that it is today. Was hoping Semafor would actually be unbiased. Not the case, apparently.
This guest is doing his best to reassure his audience, but he ain't honest. Not good to soothe them telling the " receptivity" is great. It has inexorably moved . Towards many directions : far east , middle east , etc. Not ditching anyone to please the other. All are welcome. Zero preferential treatment.
For as much as I detest many aspects of Fox and Tucker Carlson, this was not an interview. This was a dysfunctional attempt to attack Tucker and it backfired hard.
Today I discovered Semafor. I was impressed by the stated program. So, I decided to watch the interview. My hope was short-lived (about ten minutes). The same idiocy as MSM. Goodbye!
Not being a journalist, I would have thought a better approach would be to ask clear and concise questions, allow for an uninterrupted response (within a reasonable limit) and have the contrary evidence ready to go. Having prepared the questions, an interviewer should be able to anticipate the responses so as to have the evidentiary rebuttal keyed up. Certainly, when dealing with an extreme case like Tucker Carlson and Fox News, that should not have been so difficult to do. What will Semafor do when interviewing someone for whom the contrary evidence is not so plentiful and available to everyone with media access?
Havn't seen an interviewer embarrass themselves like this since discovering Jordan Peterson in his channel whatever interview with that horrible lady who made accusations instead of questions and refused to listen. I saw a lot of that in this guy. He had his questions and he also had his answers long before Tucker appeared. Did anyone else get attempted witch burning vibes from this? Like the entire plan was to bring on the *bad person* and tear them apart in front of the gathered crowd? It's hilarious that instead of succeeding he just embarrassed himself lol

I’ve heard at least a dozen democrats say that the influx in demographical change is cementing the power of the Democratic Party. As if you can just dangle a carrot in front of them to the voting booth if they are darker. I spit on your moral standards and beliefs. You are cowardice in the flesh (interviewer with a lisp). You never argued any points you just shot questions like a punk ass kid. Never even listened to the responses, just kept shooting slander. He said he hates libertarians and republicans and you didn’t bother investigating that at all. Showing you are as biased as you are a fool.
Tucker made Ben Smith look really bad and exposed how partisan and far left our state media have become. Democrats created the KKK but I never see our state run media asking Democrats if they support the KKk
The only way you can believe all the shit people say about Tucker is to never actually watch or listen to what he says. It's so bizarre to me how there's a kind of blindness a person has to have in order to ascend to positions of prominence in the legacy media. The systems that funnel people into these rolls increasingly rely on people who will internalize and believe things that anyone who is aware of what different factions ACTUALLY believe, instead of convenient caricatures, simply can't believe. Those people are weeded out from consideration before they even get a foot in the door. Now I'm going to say something that people could call sexist, but is a real problem: I don't know a single affluent liberal woman who could tell you what conservatives believe to save their lives. It's just Mean Girls garbage even at the top levels of society. Gossiping about the poor trashy kids who they know nothing about. It's a dynamic that exists in any society. But now they are sanctioned and validated by institutions and it's a big part of the problem.
Tucker smoked that guy and in my opinion, as someone who watches Tucker nightly, the reason why is Tucker has the truth on his size and Dickface is just a shill for the Dems. Tucker holds Republicans accountable all the time. Can’t say the other guy would hold Dems to account.
