Don't those tires just throw mosquitos at you after the start collecting rainwater? I remember looking in many tires out in the woods that are laying on the ground and just seeing the larva like crazy in the collected water in the tire walls.
So this year I am using Domains Freight Train as a starter for my domain plot. Do you think spraying this liquid courage on the plot later when it has grown a little will be too much for it? Also, when in a drought in Aug can I water the plot and then add this? What is your opinion?
@@sesslerclayton5200 liquid courage is a foliar fertilizer meaning that you spray it directly on the leaves and vegetation… it won’t hurt anything… only help… but just make sure you don’t spray in the heat of the day and you can always water it… especially in drought conditions
Thank you for your vido. I reside in Massachusetts bought four of their products. Question do you know when id plant it for fall deer here in Massachusetts ?? Thank you.
Which four products did you buy? If you bought hot chick one of my favorite ways to plant it or just plant clover in general is to frost seed it.. meaning you broadcast the seed when temperatures are at or below freezing during the night but reach above freezing during the day. This allows you to take advantage of the natural freeze thaw process that creates micro fractures in the ground working the small seed into the ground below the top level of soil. Once temperatures consistently reach above freezing the seeds will germinate. This allows you to skip the “earth work “ process such as tilling or disking.. If you have more questions please reach out to my on instagram @ thewoodswithwoods… I would be happy to answered any further questions you have there
@Thewoodswithwoods thank you so much for getting back to me. I bought come back kid and hot chick. Ok thanks for the info, ill do that. Have a great day
@@kirbyharrold9 absolutely!!! those are two stellar mixes. Two that I personally use myself and might I suggest mixing them and broadcasting them together!
I have had more success with cloth ropes then the synthetic ropes. I also hang mine with rubber gloves so not to get any human scent on it and then I cover the rope from the top to bottom with very heavy scent (Rack rub). I see a lot of guys not hanging them correctly they are too high. The bottom of the rope should be at your belly button level to let does lick and get their face rub against it to get the bucks to really come to it.
yeah i don't typically hang mine that low because i use it as a "lickin limb " as opposed to a "rack rub " type deal.. I've had a ton of success doing it this way... and the gloves definitely wouldn't hurt the situation! I've had deer come to them before I've even walked away from the area.
Lol....yeah the fuck it does. Balance is everything. The Wright Brothers weren't great. A German flew before them. Kobe Bryant was an athlete who cheated on his wife and couldn't maintain balance in his personal life, so the measure of him being great falls very short. Kinda like the helicopter that fell off balance that killed him. What a JOKE.😅
I've got walnut trees, grape vines, blueberry, blackberry, aronia berry, plum and apple on our little half acre. Have some dirt prepped for elderberries to go in the spring. Then another apple. We try to keep the deer out. I hope your trees thrive and attract lots of deer.
Don't like to tell people how to do stuff, but my man you need to invest in a backpack blower. It will save you a lot of raking! Did something similar, but waited to introduce another seed where it was spotty. The domain works great. Also did a 5 acre plot! Used multiple seeds from Domain along with a couple of my old standbys. Hopefully, it works out for ya and your old man. My dad's older too!
I have a backpack blower. It was so small I didn’t mind the raking. But on some of my future ones I will be breaking out the blower. Plus my big 2 acre plot is planted with a few different domain seeds as well
That's cool! I'm 55 now and into working smarter rather than harder lol. On that tree you cut down! Seen a video that someone put a trophy rock on top of the stump. I tried it and the deer are eating the stump. They've been hitting it for 3 years now.....
On that second tree go a little larger with your notch and try keeping at minimum a 45 degree or larger with it and she’ll come down no problem. Great work regardless man
I have similar set-ups. I have my 44L Alps OutdoorZ Pursuit pack for sub-full day hunts and just got my 51L Eberlestock Team ELK M5 for all day hunts (pre-sunrise to post-sunset). I tried going light and compact and I just can't do it. There are too many concessions made and I find myself missing the stuff I left behind. A comfortable hunt will keep you out there and keep you sharp all day long. What I had to stuff into the Alps I can carry with room to spare in the Eberlestock even though it's just a 7L difference. Plus the external frame Eberlestock carries so nice out in the field (not that the Alps didn't). If I'm going to take a walk out in the backwoods for an hour or two, I just take a shoulder bag in case I come across a yote or a target of opportunity. I try to go as light as I can, but I had to come up with my combination of loadouts and had to learn to ignore the internet for a minute and let real world field time dictate what I needed out there.
That’s the best way to do it!!! Figure out what YOU use and what works for you! As long as you feel comfortable with your gear that’s all that matters!
That deer would get you in serious trouble in Texas. Its rack is not wide enough. That buck is young. Should have never been shot. A fine and possible jail time.
It’s a management buck on our property.. it doesn’t have brow tines (eye guards)! That is a gene on my property that we are trying to eliminate. In our efforts to grow nice mature deer
