I’m aware this was 13 years ago but it was my dads favourite song and I’m trying to learn it for his funeral coming up next week. I stg I cannot find the tabs for it anywhere on the internet, and I don’t have the capability to pick it up from watching this. Can anyone help out? Does anyone have the tabs or knows where I can find them?
Just perfect! I am Chicago born, raised and never left. Chief O'Neill was the chief of police here way before I was born. This is my favorite hornpipe EVER. Thank you very much. P.S. There is a bar and restaurant in Chicago on the north side, called Chief O'Neill's!
Fantastic! Your versions have become my go to for learning tunes on the mandolin after previously learning from your recording of Blarney Pilgrim (I prefer to learn from other instruments in an attempt to blend in). Out of interest, how do your recorded versions compare to how a tune would be played in a session, with regards to tempo etc?.. All the best
Hi goped, many thanks for your kind comments. Our recorded versions are mostly how we would play them at sessions, although some sessions are faster than others! Good wishes from Joe and Adele
