There you go!!! Anyone wondering it has no res or muffler . I was so scared this was how it’s going to sound. I’m looking for this delete but it’s extremely hard to find now. I was afraid this was what it sounded like with a full exhaust 😬
I think the hardest part of doing your own oil change is removing the old oil and pouring it into another container for disposal. Actually getting under the car to remove the oil pan bolt and oil filter is the most painful for me even with using ramps.
Well of course your going to need to run a muffler and probably a resonator. When I watched this I thought it was strange that just the down pipe by itself caused it to be so loud . But it based on what you said your running a NA motor straight piped so of course its too loud and sounds like crap.
Thanks for this informative vid. Just came across it today. me and my homie last week had took off both 02 sensors and I had to buy that same type of socket to remove the exhaust manifold cover. So the next step for my ex is just 2 buy new headers.
Edit. There are small plastic flat pins you have to remove from under the plastic. After that pull it towards yourself from the front until you here click. First on one side then the othef and gently remove it and disconnect the windshield wiper fluid line I agree with the rest. I literally only needed to know how to properly remove the platic corner piece without breaking anything. No shit sherlock theres two bolts there
Here’s the video for the vanos check valves! It will ALSO need to be done ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VQweif8dHFg.htmlsi=FbEJhGlwFny8WyD_
There are check valves behind these intake and exhaust solenoids. They screw in from the side meaning they would intersect the back part of the solenoids. Those things get dirty and need to be cleaned. I don’t know why they are not more video showing this. If you change your intake and exhaust solenoid and still get a VANOS code then you need to check these check valves. You can search them online. RockAuto is about $79 for Dorman brand
5:07 This is most trick to take alternator out without removing radiator fan. I exactly follow your steps for my 2012 Acura TL. Your video is informative. Thanks.
Thanks for this video. For others attempting this, that bolt that is hard to get to at the bottom, you do NOT need to remove that completely. The mount on the headlamp assembly is split, not a closed loop, so you can just loosen it and slide it off. Save yourself some headaches and leave it on.
Isn’t that about the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever seen in your life? You have to jump through those many hoops just to change a headlight. That’s insane. In my Chevy Tahoe there’s 2 long L pins on each side. You pull those pins and the whole lens will come out with little to no effort. No tools involved
