No, that upmap dongle is simply act as a key to activate/deactivate the existing up-map mapping that is pre-programmed inside the factory ECU. This up-map dongle comes together with the Termignoni Full System Exhaust under Ducati performance parts.

And, please don't get confused with the aftermarket Up-map that is marketed by Termignoni. The one which you are seeing in my video is Ducati Performance item.

Hi Dave, thanks for your comment. Supposedly you are right under normal circumstances. But unfortunately Ducati has verified my old UPMAP dongle is empty, and they have no idea why and how the data would gone missing. Mind you, that wasn't my first time to activate & deactivate UPMAP on my ECU, and I have never plugged the dongle onto any other bike. Anyway, Ducati Bologna has replaced me with a new one. Case closed.
