@@L0vac I had only few hours with the car, there is mostly no time for doing these consuption tests. It is like all small non-hybrid turbocharged engines - when driving 90 km/h very efficiency, when doing a lot of acceleration in city very thirsty.
@@LatecoBraxatoris ty, so as expected. Am thinking about it. Sadly e-tech I can't stand due to 3cy sound but this one seems very nice and has much better interior than most 35-40K eur C segment SUVs
@@LatecoBraxatoris yes, it uses 1.2 turbo 3cy sadly. I also found that wierd, especially since Renault has reliable 1.33 turbo 4cy which could have been adapted for hybrid. The e-tech sounds awful when petrol engine revs xD
Oh wow, I have the same exact interior. Only difference is the screen, my 2012 Fiat doesn't have one. But those colors are so beautiful, I have white rims and white mirrors to match
I tried the same car. It can be perfect as a daily driver. Parking backwards can be a little problem in the begining due to the small rear window, but its only a matter of time to get used to it. My biggest cons against the 8th and 7th generation Civic, is if the road is bad quality or bumpy, the car doesnt handle it very well...specially in the backseat can be quite uncomfy. The 1.4 engine variant in the 7th gen and the 8th gen is kinda weak...specially if you use the AC aswel. The shifter for me with the clutch is an etalon...really smooth, really comfy specially in the 7th gen...altough both 7 and 8th clutch system can be a weakpoint, and also the shifter aswel. The consumption is kinda okey. For me it was around 7-8l/100.
7:20 unsure if it's uphill or wierd head-wind but how can the engine kick in from that very slow acceleration(one of many)? This car are missing the big point of hybrid, EV should always try to go 100% from standstill and accelerate the car till atleast 50-60km/h, THEN the engine can kicks in to maintain the speed. Now it looks like the petrol mostly always kicks in every acceleration and goes EV when it got up to speed.
0:58 The handbrake "releases" itself when starting off. It "plugs" itself in the same way after switching to P and turning off the engine. I have the same version of Opel as you, but I don't have adaptive headlights ;)
I have tried so many cars in recent year that I do not rely for automatic release. Especially Fiats are buggy... And it is the same company now, so... 😁. These LED Pixel lights are amazing, for sure :)
@@JerryMarz Well, if you are focused more on driving than comfort, then yes. Nobody knows, if the new Swift is gonna get the Sport version. Advantages: lightness, consuption, fun to drive Disadvantages: noisy from the outside, no exhaust sound, cheap interior, very poor audio.
Manželka musela hrozne trpieť, keď musela byť tak dlho ticho. Ale autíčko nemá chybu. Tiež som ho kupoval v Novembri v Martine, a zatiaľ 100% spokojnosť. Len žene sa najviac páčila biela, tak máme bielu.👍👍👍
It is said that engine oil consumption is high. Can you give us more information about this topic, especially since the car is being marketed in Algeria a few days from now? Thank you very much
My uncle had Fiat Grande Punto with the exact same engine, 1,4 16v 95hp. 8 years, 250k+ km with almost zero oil consuption. For example, Volkswagen engines are known for extreme oil consuption. We are used to Fiats in family only and these engines are extremely reliable :) Only one condition is to use original Selenia oil. It is rather expensive, but the engine works amazing for a long time.
Even I am using 1,4 T-Jet in my Abarth 595, which is basically the same engine, but turbocharged. 165 hp. Zero oil consuption after first year and 10k km.
@@LatecoBraxatoris Thank you very much for the valuable advice you provided regarding engine oil consumption. Through your comments, I understood that the car provides good performance and does not consume a lot of oil, contrary to what is promoted on social media sites.

@@thenext1 Yes, it is stock. Well, the car is not mine, but if it wil I would definetely think about that. There is actually no sound from the stock exhaust.
This engine was created in Brazil and it is good, it's reliable and offers a lot of power for its size. Fiat is working to make even stronger, something like 220hp - 230hp.
