Star Wars Fandom is one of, if not, the worst fandom i’ve ever joined in my entire life, i couldn’t even enjoy any star wars content especially if it’s Star Wars Episode 7-9, plus the fans who are hating the sequel trilogy are so annoying asf that they literally act like acknowledging something from the sequel trilogy is a sin, i understand the hate of sequel trilogy but, these fans acting like these are bunch of crybabies, don’t get me started to the fans who bullied the actors and some shit they did in the past

Imo, the red screen when Baker is close to dying isn't a health regeneration system but more of the player being suppressed (unless you get burned by fire). I remember when I was 8, Baker's helmet got shot off and I was instanly in a critical state meaning I need to get tf down. Like Uncharted with Nate's luck ending on one bullet (grey screen), Baker's luck would end from one shot. Examples of said luck is when the bridge got destroyed and a beam almost impales Baker, surviving a tank shot that killed Leggett, surviving the mortar strike giving him the scar and the least amount of damage out of everyone in the cafe and lastly when the glass roof of the hospital caught a bomb just before hitting him. It's the same with 3rd squad, you'll be notified that they're under fire/suppressed and if one bullet hits them, they're down until the next checkpoint. This is just how I think the red screen works, you don't have to agree since this is just a subjective take on it.

"ANDOR" certainly had its highlights. I admired the excellent performances from a cast led by the very talented Diego Luna. I thought showrunner Tony Gilroy's portrayal of a corrupt and violent Galactic Empire seemed pretty spot on. In fact, Gilroy's portrayal of the galaxy at this point in the timeline pretty much matched his, Chris Weitz and director Gareth Edwards' portrayal of the galaxy in "ROGUE ONE". "ANDOR" also featured issues that I either found questionable or simply did not work for me. The season's narrative structure of a group of three (or four) episodes per arc barely worked for me. I say barely, because the arcs still managed to form one season-long arc. But it did so in a way that some of the episodes felt like mere padding. I found the season finale, "Rix Road" a bit anti-climatic. Despite the big speech and the riot, Cassian Andor had played no role in these events. He spent most of the episode attempting to free his friend from Imperial forces in a sequence that featured very little action. "Rix Road" had paused its narrative to convey Maarva Andor's pre-recorded speech against the Empire. But this was not the first time something like this happened. Two or three times, the series paused the story in order for a character to give this great speech or monologue on the evils of fascism and tyranny. This penchant of pausing the narrative for a political speech really got on my nerves. George Lucas managed to achieve the same with two lines spoken in two separate movies - Leia in "A New Hope" and Padme in "Revenge of the Sith". Following Cassian's escape from Ferrix in Episode 3, Syril Karn spent the next nine episodes developing two obsessions - finding and capturing Cassian and developing a romantic (if you want to call it that) fixation for ISB Agent Dedra Meero, while he continuously engaged in verbal combat with his domineering mother. After wasting away for eight episode, Karn learned about Maarva Andor's death and decided to travel to Ferrix to snatch Cassian. Only . . . he never encountered his prey. Not once. Instead, he ended up saving Agent Meero from angry rioters. Tony Gilroy had provided an in-depth look into Mon Mothma's private life and her efforts to keep her role as one of the Rebels' leaders a secret. To my surprise, Senator Mothma's arc came dangerously close to dominating this series . . . in which Cassian is supposed to serve as the main protagonist. The worst part - at least for me - was that her arc had no real impact on Cassian’s arc. Or had served as any kind of catalyst to Cassian’s arc during this first season. I feel that Gilroy, Lucasfilm and many critics and fans had forgotten the name of this series, which is "ANDOR"; not "THE REBEL ALLIANCE", "REBELS II" or "MOTHMA".

I don't understand 'why did people raise their standards too high?' We just don't want to see unrealistic, not-believable, illogical stupid scenes and decisions. I LOVE Ahsoka series, one of my favourites, but it sure had quite a few of those. And criticism is valid. Is it really that frustrating to ask writers to write things better, use script doctors and use common sense and logic?
@BlueHooloovoo
@BlueHooloovoo Месяц назад
It's Star Wars. It's a fantasy series that has no logic in reality. It doesn't obey the laws of physics or space and time. If you're okay with the prequels then you have nothing to complain about when it comes to writing.

I get what you’re saying. Personally, I don’t think Ahsoka had many issues. They wrote themselves into a corner a few times at the end, but overall I think it was a good show. Disney needs to get writers that care and actually know about the brand. There’s too many people working on this franchise that have no clue about the lore and care more about turning Star Wars into something they want it to be. The foundation of the franchise should be considered sacred, but sadly it isn’t.

@@Analyze_This54 Tony Gilroy, who created Andor and Rogue One, has openly admitted he's not a Star Wars fan. Yet Andor and Rogue One are considered some of Disney's best work. Star Wars has always had people coming in and interpreting the material in different ways. Some of it works, and some of it doesn't. This has been the case throughout the entire history of Star Wars. There seems to be this unrealistic expectation by parts of the fandom that everything must be written to cater to their whims and that every story has to be something worthy of an Emmy or Oscar. If they don't like something, that's fine, but if that discourse descends into vitriol and hate, then they've made it more than just disliking something. There is so much content out there to choose from. If you don't like the Disney stuff, then there's Legends or the video games or theme parks, etc. There's stuff for every age group in this franchise.

You keep asking why people are being so nasty towards anyone who defends Disney Star Wars but you don't seem to be trying to answer that question. You've instead chosen to spend the entire video defending your own opinion while ignoring the elephant in the room. How are those Star Wars fans, the ones that don't like the Disney DEI effect on their beloved franchise, being treated by powerful corporations and media companies? What kind of names are they being called? What kind of legal consequences are they being threatened with? What you are facing is called "backlash" and if the worst form it takes is arrogance and sarcasm then you are NOT defending the side with the moral high ground. Your advice, that we should ignore "one-sided" online reviewers and watch this stuff anyway to "give it a chance" is bad advice. All Disney needs is that watch on their ratings to tell them they're doing a good job and continue producing the same product. Bad idea. If an online reviewer that you trust, because they have plenty of positive reviews on their channel and they didn't enjoy the thing you didn't enjoy for the same reasons you didn't enjoy it in the past, tells you that a new show is more of the same then you should not give it more than one episode to convince you otherwise. I gave Acolyte 2 episodes and I don't t think Disney deserved even that much encouragement. Won't make that mistake again, I'll leave it to the experts who get paid to throw themselves on those grenades.

But when I made this video months ago when Ashoka came out it was because some of the criticism was ridiculous. It's one thing to not like it, but to attack others for their opinions and enjoyment is wrong. I don't think I gave bad advice. Watching a 30 second TikTok that says the show is bad and then instantly feeling the same way is silly. If you aren't going to watch the whole show at least watching a few different reviews.

Because it had a female lead everyone assumed it was going to be more SheHulk and failed to watch it despite the fact that it might be the only Disney show (aside from Shogun) that does not portray men as exclusively weak, stupid and evil. Well if it’s anything, I’m with you there. I grew up as a Star Wars fan despite only seeing the original six, I do personally enjoy the sequels too because I was hyped for each one and to me each delivered with some exciting new ideas. I love Rogue One, Solo took me a while but I eventually found enjoyment with that too! And yeah I don’t think Disney Star Wars is perfect, The Book of Boba Fett was hit and miss, and Obi-Wan Kenobi was pretty frustrating (that said it does have one of the best Lego sets in my collection so I’m happy in that sense) My biggest issue though more than ever, has been the fans. Things weren’t too bad from 2011-2017, some minor frustrations but the people I hung out with and my perspective of the general audience was that everyone no matter the differences in opinions, at least still acted civil… Then The Last Jedi came out and started a riff which Solo and The Rise of Skywalker made worse, The Mandalorian seemed to make things better but The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi and even Season 3 of The Mandalorian just took that small light of uniting the fans, and returning it back to the warzone that VIII and IX made. I will admit I was on the side of defending the Disney stuff for a time because I was more frustrated that the people hating on the Disney stuff were also saying how perfect the Prequels, Clone Wars and Legends material were which of course made me sick, if there’s one thing I will always hate no matter what, it’s a hypocrite. Then The Acolyte came out, I will say I have enjoyed it so far, but the reason I talk about this separately is because that is the show where the warzone of fans has become more intense, you either hate it with a passion or you think it’s the best thing ever. if you’re in between like I am, then your opinion sucks and will be made fun of. I personally thought that it was nice that there were people ready to fight the hypocrisy, but then they turned sour too by posting death threats to people like Star Wars theory. That was when it dawned on me that there really is no winning on either extreme, you’re either a hypocrite or a sell out. So basically put, I just want to enjoy what I want to enjoy, I want to try and stay as neutral as possible from this online fan war, but it was really cool to see your video and although I can see us disagreeing on a lot of things, the fact that you’re coming into an argument with a more mature manner and an attitude that will encourage more civil conversations, let’s me know that maybe there is some hope out there in a Galaxy Far Far Away

I get being mad and not liking something but the relentless ragging on this franchise and people behind it for the past 27 years is exhausting.

I wanted to like Disney Star wars. And I did enjoy the force awakens. Was disappointed with the last Jedi and didn't even bother with rise of Skywalker cause Palpatine returned.

Palatine coming back was a thing that actually happened in the EU (Legends) universe. They also cloned Luke.
