On TWOW, rets are even more trouble for druids. However, this dot and run strat would still work. Feral would stand NO chance with how much holy damage they can dish out on that server. Cuts through bear armor like nothing. But hey, at least they are "balanced" in pve, right?
I believe it, they hit very hard would be a much harder fight for a feral druid. Which is why I am always impressed when Germanicus posts video of him beating good ret pallys. Lol yeah their PvE damage is trash unfortunately, not like I can talk as a boomy in PvE

He was full feral right? Doesn't that mean he would actually get the opener first before you cause he got improved stealth if you go both cat form? (nice of him to let you have the opener) Feral is kinda countering moonglow spec, i tried many many ways to beat an evenly geared feral but the problem is that you not rly can get away and the burst they do is insane while you can't rly kite them. Only sure win is if you use a flash bomb after they trinket hibernate or a stun.
yeah he gives me the opener bc we both know he will likely win anyways. A good feral is very hard to kill as balance, they counter us well. Germanicus is the best feral druid on the server and as such a very hard player to fight. We are both practicing on each other a lot though and I will eventually get there. You should check out his channel, really good content

I have over 5000 pvp kills on my og character. Id pvp every day as i played on a pvp server. There were days that my son and i would kill a lot of other players. Id die just as much. Loved it. If someone killed me id get stronger. I was playing horde, someone ticked me off. I paid to switch to alliance and went on a horde killing spree. Dalvenger if anyone wants to know. Only made it to private. We would sit in newbie areas and gank people that attacked newbs
it's not as bad as you think, you make a lot of money as well from GDKPs. I started off with no money and now I have plenty just from a few GDKPs, you either way away with gear, gold or both but never empty handed
it's a PvP server in a contested zone in a well known pvp area, its fair game. But I am not mean about it, I don't kill them twice unless they indicate they want a rematch
Nice man, perfect example of why people say warlock is as close to a hard counter as a druid can get. Hunter is a close second. Strange that he didn't use the most deadly combo destruction locks are capable of though, except once. Seduce into curse of elements, soulfire at big range so immolate can be almost cast by the time the seduction breaks, then immediately conflagrate into shadowburn. With his gear, if anything in that chain crits, you lose. After you get seduced, the only time you have to react is the global cooldowns between conflagrate and shadowburn. If you aren't dead already, you might get a NS/HT off, but that combo leaves no dots on you, so he can simply deathcoil into fear and finish you off. Warlocks are the undisputed kings of the duel, and what I just described isn't even the most popular way they kill you. A felhunter paired with a SL lock is supid unfair for you. Felhunter can eat your hots, or if well timed, it can even eat your NS or innervate. Besides being full naxx bis feral with atiesh and getting lucky with an opening ravage crit, I'm not sure how a druid can reliably beat that.
yeah man warlocks are absolutely beasts of the 1v1, there is a reason warlocks win all the dueling tournaments. I have fought some good full BiS (w/ atiesh) SL warlocks and it felt impossible, especially if they were suppose aggressive (rocket boots, etc). I can beat a decent warlock, but a very good warlock feels like very little chance of making it happen without some good RNG
It's adorable to see these new kids trying to duel these days. All these moves and strategies were created by the generation I started with 20 years ago.
Man. Classic WoW PvP is like chess, so few moves to make but the masters like you just absolutely rinse it. I watch/play retail PvP and it's like watching an EDM music video theres so many spells and so much going on its barely a battle, its just pretty colours and button mashing. Absolutely love you repping alliance druid bro, maining NElf druid since day 1 but always been shocking at world PvP
