Never been to lake success. The water level looks good. I usually just go to lake kaweah. It's the closest body of water near me. The only thing that sucks about lake kaweah, is that they are always draining the lake all of the time. I've never really done any good there. Just getting started in bass fishing, so I'm still learning.
@@jimvalim1567 10$ day pass but I just buy the year pass for 40$. That pass works at kaweah and all lakes that are army corps of engineers. You can also get the America the great card and that will work for all lakes and national parks for 80$ a year
Oh definitely, watching my recording I realized I should have cleaned it. I just wasn’t thinking about it much at the time. Will keep it in mind next time!
The rod for me is really sensitive as I can pretty much feel anything on the bottom with the dropshot rig. It’s a perfect rod for those subtle bites and since it’s very light I can cast all day with it. If you like fishing lighter gear or dropshot then I’d say it’s worth it. Also, the Phenix warranty is a plus with it.
