Welcome to my channel! My name is Athina, and I'm a full-time jewelry artist, rockhound, reseller, and crystal connoisseur.
I've been reselling online for almost 20 years! One of my favorite things to do is travel and discover antiques, vintage, and especially oddities at the thriftstores!
I'm also an artist who has sold locally for decades with my fantasy art and electroformed jewelry! For artwork, jewelry, crystal gemstones, and lapidary material, check out my Whatnot @faeriesinmycloset and my etsy shop! NoctuaLunaArts.etsy.com
Yes, unfortunately opalite nowadays is a trade name for man made glass, but this is what it used to be called. It's an older name for common opal. It's also what the locals here call what yadenite is made from :) It's unfortunate that most people think what's now considered opalite is actually a real stone.
