FYI, if you have a convertible, you no longer need to modify the tail light housing for it to fit. They have included the option during checkout to indicate if you have a convertible and the housing is already cut out. Not sure why he says the harness has to match the correct lamp (RH to RH, LH to LH) or else it won't work because I put both harnesses side by side and they have the same wires going to the same spots, no difference at all between them.
Guys! It's really not complicated for the LED. It's shown on the video and explained. The kit comes with the two splice connectors, simply one end to black and the other to green/white. Viola. Dont over think it.
Seriously! He explains and shows exactly what to do at the 5:32 point. If clamping 2 wires is a struggle, you shouldn't be doing mods on your car . Lol
Hello.... Thanks for the video...... i had already install original led lights in my 500X 2016, and i have light on in my cluster and the led lights remains on, not possible i guess from proxy alignment i guess, so i must put a resistor...... 21W 12v(8ohm 50watt) it should be ok??? Thank you....
At 5:32, he clearly says that to install the LED, you tap into the green/white wire and the black wire of the factory harness and then shows exactly how it's done. What is confusing you?
They did not explain the resistance part well and in the video it is not clear which cables 2 and 3 but in my 2013 Abarth 500 there is 4 which is the same as cable 3 whatever, your video is not clear in that part
At 5:32, he clearly says that you are tapping into the green/white wire and the black wire of the factory harness and then shows exactly how it's done. It doesn't matter how many wires you have, you just worry about the green/white and the black.
Installed these and they look perfect! Easy to install as well! The only issue I ran into is that one of the LED lights does not work, but everything else 100%
I know there would be very little demand for the Euro 500L rear light assembly. Do you know if the Euro version would fit on the US model? I want it to have the amber turn signals. You guys do such great work!
That's AWESOME! The Euro tail lights were one the biggest things I wanted to do when I still had my Abarth. I'll definitely get a pair the next time I have one.
