I recently did a video of the ozer and the elite s6 printers and i noticed a few problems with them. Just wondering if you or anyone else has had similar problems?
There isn't really any from what I can tell. I did a review of the ozer and the elite s6 a few weeks back. I think they all have the same issues and they all lack testing by actual artists.
Well now this is a pretty broad question. I am not 100% certain what you mean by this question. So I will try and answer this in two ways........ 1. If what you mean is, how do I enlarge my image to fill a whole stencil sheet of paper.....then I can tell you that the in the printer app on your device, you have the ability to enlarge your image to whatever size you like. There are rulers built in so you can see what size your image will print out at. And I can tell you that the canvas size in the app represents a full page. 2. If what you are saying is that you are unable to fully enlarge your image.................often what we see is artists importing an image into the stencil app that includes blank canvas space from whatever art program they are using (ProCreate, Clip Studio, Photoshop, Gimp etc.). My advice would be to make sure that when you export an image, make sure that image fills the canvas space. Then you will be able to enlarge to full size of a stencil sheet. Otherwise, you will be enlarging blank canvas space as well, preventing your image from filling a full sheet. 3. If what you are talking about is the tracking lines that appear on the sides of the stencil paper taking up valuable stencil space, and you would like to use that space to fill with a larger image........in that case I can tell you that those tracking lines are there to reduce the chances of the stencil paper bunching up or wrinkling during printing. However they can be removed by adjusting the density in the print settings. You can remove them entirely to utilize the entire sheet. I hope that is helpful in answering your question
can you please do a video on big stencils that require multiple stencil sheets with ozer printer only because of the lines on the side that print out how would you do multiple sheets without overlapping of those lines on the side
Hey there, if I am being honest, I do not really know. We have not had the opportunity to test out the SkullDNA -SP20. But from what I can see online, it does look like it is exactly the same as the Ozer, but they have re-branded it with their own name. It also claims to have the same DPI as the Ozer. So knowing all of that, it should print exactly the same as the Ozer, because it is the Ozer, as far as I can tell. But again I need to be clear...I have not had the opportunnity to chek this printer out personally, so I don't know for sure. This is just my best guess from what I can see online. I hope that is helpful. :)
I am sorry to hear that. Bluetooth pairing is generally a simple process. And I am sorry to hear that you did not recieve any help. Where did you purchase your printer from?
You are not wrong. In fact we used to exclusively use Dynamic Black in our studios. That is until all of the recalls. Simply becasue I cannot trust a brand that has had multiple recalls of their ink, ........ www.abcactionnews.com/news/national/popular-tattoo-ink-recalled-by-fda-due-to-contamination#:~:text=The%20Food%20and%20Drug%20Administration,lots%20tested%20positive%20for%20microorganisms. ........we started looking for a replacement, and as you said, since Fusion's colours are AMAZING, and they have a great track record of safe manufacture and handling, it was a no braininer to switch to Basic Black from Fusion. And that is all we use now.
SERIOUSLY I bought this printer. Thought it would work like in your Video. It doesn't! When I use the Portrait you used, I get Black smudges and dark ares instead. Im trying since 3 days and NOTHING looks anything like your promises. Did you prepare something special Did something to the pictures?!
Did you figure it out? I had same issues…adjusted the contrast…also make sure paper is inserted correctly…transfer sheet on top…took me several attempts before I realized it…
I am sorry to hear you are having issues. But to answer your question, no we did not do anything special, or adjust the images in anyway, other than what you see in this video. The images were downloaded directly from a google image search to a smart phone, and then directly printed through the Quick Stencil App as you see in the video. Now I can tell you that specificaly we are used Sapphire Stencil Paper bleedingedgetattoosupply.com/products/sapphire-stencil-paper, and we used Recovery Stencil Lock bleedingedgetattoosupply.com/products/recovery-stencil-lock. I suppose if you are using a different stencil paper, then you might have a different result, as we did not test other brands of transfer paper. But I do know dozens of other artists that do use different brands of stencil ppaer, and still get the results you see i n this video. Can you provide more details?
Yes! The stripes on both sides is how the printer keeps the stencil paper from wrinkling and bunching up through the printer. Now you can use the printer settings in the app to lighten the print and essentially remove those lines, but then you run the risk of the paper crumpling inside the printer.
Hi I have just purchased this printer and I am having issues with it printer it is just mushing the whole image looks correct when printing but when separating the wax coating sheet it is just completely mushed where there is white it is like the thing is just over heating can you help at all thanks
Hi There! I can do my best to help you out for sure. I do have a few questions though......what stencil paper are you using? Are you able to post a screen shot of the image you are printing. And can you post a pic of the final result. Like what the trasfer looks like when it has printed and came out all "mushy".
Yeah we really love it. As someone who has been in the industry for so long that I have used everything from hectograph pens and acetate to 3M printers, the Eclipse, TOEC, Epson deskjet and more........ I really believe that this is going to change the industry. This printer makes all of the others obsolete.
Its possible to connect to ipad to print from procreate? I saw couple people saying that they had problems with connecting to ipad… no problem with phone 🤷🏻♀️
Yes absolutely you can print direct from your ipad. Most of the artists in our own studios use ipads and procreate to design, and they print just fine. You can even direct connect to a desktop computer or laptop. If you install the drivers that come on the included USB drive, the stencil printer will just show up as an available printer to print to from whatever program you are using on your laptop or desktop computer.
hmmmm. I don't have a good answer for you. In all of our testing, we had no problem printing off super fine lines, as you can see in the videos. That being said in all of our tests we used Sapphire stencil paper bleedingedgetattoosupply.com/products/sapphire-stencil-paper not Spirit. I can also tell you that there is darkness settings in the app that you can adjust. Try tweaking those settings and see if you get a better result with your fine lines. If that doesn't work, try using a different stencil paper and see if you have better results. let us know how it turns out.
Still doesn't print.. it prints better when I layer my stencils a few times in procreate first. But it feels like it's not picking up the lines. Only when I draw the lines thicker the printer picks them up but then they are too thick for me to tattoo. Still trying to find a solution to this.@@bleedingedgetattoosupply9391
@@bleedingedgetattoosupply9391Found it. So my brush in procreate was faded on pressure. I turnt this off. Now my lines are fully black rather than pixelated and grey towards the egde of the line. This makes the lines more saturated. I then copy the line layer 4 times and in the ozer app turn top slider all the way to the left and bottom to the right to increase maximum contrast. Now it prints the lines good. Only using the ozer paper, for spirit it still doesn’t work good.
I saw in another video that Ozer branded stencil paper is recommended and works better with fine details than Spirit. See this video for a comparison ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-to4iD6kbmiM.html
Yes you can! So long as the scrap of stencil paper you are putting in is still attached all together at the top of the sheet. So basically if you are wanting to conserve stencil paper, just make sure that the designs you are printing off first are placed at the bottom of your sheet. You can cut off the bottom, and then re-insert the unused top portion of your stencil paper to print more stencils.
Hello there, we can try and help you fix it for sure. Given that there aren't too many moving parts, there is very little that can go wrong. What I would do is shoot us an email at info@bleedingedgetattoosupply.com and we will do whatever we can to get you back up and running. And if we can't, as for getting a refund, I suppose that would depend on what the policies are of where ever you purchased this from. So perhaps reach out to the supplier that you bought it from.
In all of our tests (including this video) we used Sapphire stencil paper..... bleedingedgetattoosupply.com/products/sapphire-stencil-paper They make a quality 'blue' transfer sheet that is not as dark as the traditional violet in papers like Spirit and Atsui, and it's not a trasparent as red papaers like Sense 8. Give it a shot, you will love it, and it works great with this printer!

This is a good question. The Phomemo M08F is similar internally, but as with the majority of the Phomemo products, thier intended function is printing of text and PDF documents. The Ozer is actually built on the M08Pro technology and contains software and firmware that optimizes prinitng images for the tattoo stencil making. This is why we carry the Ozer. It is built with the tattoo industry in mind, and streamilined to that end.
@@bleedingedgetattoosupply9391 I love this printer but is way too expensive. I tried to find something similar to this one (that prints shades too) but nothing is ever close to Ozer than can also print shading on Stencil Thermal paper
@@Vasilis1984 I agree with you. It is difficult to find something that comes close to the quality of the Ozer. So it is a little more expensive than some cheaper options out there, but you will definitely see where that extra money went. I personally have 5 tattoo studios of my own, and we are currently replacing all of the copiers that we do currently have in those shops with the Ozer. Ity really does make everything else obsolete.
Is this the same or similar as the Yilonh ATS886? Its only like $160 and according to online reviews it does really well. @@bleedingedgetattoosupply9391
Yes it is possible, although shipping will cost approximately another $60 CAD to Romania. If this is something you would like arrange, please contact us through info@bleedingedgetattoosupply.com or through our instagram @bleedingedgetattoosupply
Hi, i'm using spirit paper but it doesn't seem to print fineline as it did with my copier, like not at all. Do you know a solution for this?@@mr.broccoli3776
Yes, you can stencil the portrait on the skin exactly how it prints, with the same image quality. As for how this printer compares to the Brother pj 883............they are very similar with a few downsides for the Brother pj-883. Mainly, the Brother typically is more expensive. Often it is sold seperately from the battery, which will cost you a little more to buy it. Also the brother is designed with text documents in mind. Invoices and word documents. So the software this printer works best with is the p-touch suite of programs. in the case of the Ozer, it is designed with tattoo applications in mind. So it is designed to print images best, and the software the the Ozer is designed to work with is a photo editor. With crop, collage, resize and scan options. This is why we like the Ozer much better, in our opinion. But if you are looking for more specs on the Brother, here is a link to an information website..... www.tradeinn.com/techinn/en/brother-pj883-portable-printer/139517986/p?id_producte=18341980&country=ca&gclid=Cj0KCQjwho-lBhC_ARIsAMpgMochJY5C0kFsx-jTcmjiT8PI0R14gfCq8r63wq4wOW4rLDQogAF7ob4aAqE0EALw_wcB
