i am someone who fishes the root 3/4 seasons of the year and limme tell you the run can be just as unpredictable as anywhere else water levels fluctuate a lot and front of cold can shut of fishing to everyone
Hi Troy! Why didn’t you just inject acetone instead of denatured alcohol? Do you think you could just keep applying coats of acetone (externally)? I assume so since at the end of the video you say you have just left them outside and without adding any fluids and they were fine. Great video! I’m trying to get away from using formaldehyde or Velvalok.
Awesome video. I remember Surveying on Prince of Wales Island in 1989 and seeing big bucks on the Mountain tops along with Black bears. Always wanted to go back there and hunt those bucks!
I am partial to about a size 10-14 nymph (prince, hair ear, pheasant tail) my favorite being something close to a bead head hairs ear but tied with mink and rubber legs. And about a size 12 estaz egg dropper. Or an egg tied up with hairline dubbin ice dub orange, works awesome but it’s not the most durable

Give you 2 props for bow-hunting at one of the hardest spots on Lanai for Axis Deer. Manele Bay is Hot , Wind Swirls all the time and Stalking on those terrains ain’t quiet either. 🤙🏽
