One of my favorite Jerry Jeff songs. One of the most honest songs I've heard, and it's clear that he is totally in love with his wife, Susan. She loves me too! She's a Lady... I was so happy to see him sing this song on on of his last concerts.

After the show at the Cactus Cafe in Austin in the 90's the pair hung out on the patio where I was able to spend some time with them. I can tell you for sure, there was no misinterpretation. That is great news! Dan and the Professors of Pleasure did an Austin City Limits taping with Taj Majal November 15, 1978. Maybe you could access some of that footage. A year or so after Dan left Austin, his wife (I believe) had his entire world music collection for sale at the record convention in Austin. I regret that I didn't have the money to buy it all and keep it intact, it was quite impressive. Anyway, feel free to post updates in the comments section of the videos.
