No get out of that cave these are clearly not cave divers the one diver struggles with buoyancy and trim. You will die going into a cave untrained this makes my heart skip a beat.
The area was flooded to hide the remains of the Old World structures that were melted and destroyed during the great flood. Those "caves" are structural remains. They are hiding this stuff with water. 🤔

You have no reels, no spools, 1 tank, probably 1 light and no cutters or knife, You nor your friend are in trim or maintaining buoyancy bouncing all around, but you ARE SILTING EVERYTHING OUT!!! Get trained by a Certified cave diver before you and your friend kill yourselves....
Most of the benefit of buddies admittedly disappears once you start diving completely redundant equipment with stages. Unless he flat out has a panic attack or a heart attack, or starts seizing... any other issue he should (in theory of course) be able to handle and make a safe ascent by himself. Not saying I would make a habit out of doing it (especially in deep open water like this) but my deepest solo dive was 141 feet with a 61 minute runtime including deco...
