Just wanted to say you guys rock, so happy to have found you here on RU-vid. Been a fan since before I was cooking. My Mom and I watched you guys all the time. lmao at the biological sister jokes.
Juicing gives you more then blending. It goes right to your blood compared to blending. I blend smoothie once a day for fiber. But i juice twice a day.
My heart filled with joy and appreciation to Dr Abumere on youtube for curing my HSV with his natural roots and herbs. Am now perfectly okay. God bless you for me. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KgIh8shZY2Y.html ....
Thank you for the fun Vid Ladies, I have the OMEGA Juicer + Te Nutribullet it seems the Bullet blender is in my DNA also it has been 2 years since I use the OMEGA :( Of Course both of them are the best healthy alternatives:)
Wow I haave to send a super like through RU-vid. It really explained that blending is as important as juicing. And juicing is less filling than blending but oops this isn't true . The blending was filling because it had more ingredients.
While this video was cute, it missed at least one major point. A glass of smoothie and a glass of juice are not the same thing at all. The smoothie has water plus tons of fiber. It doesnt have anywhere near the nutrients of the same volume of pure juice. Blending is more like a meal since you will have to consume several glasses for the same amount of produce. Juicing is like having a drink instead of a meal.
I'm confused as to why you said that the pumpkin purée was a replacement for eggs and then put an egg in the recipe after.. You could even see the confusion on Janet's face lol
+Health Nuts with Janet and Greta my mistake you said as a replacement for fats not eggs but then you did add butter in as well after which is still confusing
+Caitlin Chen I have seen other recipes where apple sauce or pumpkin purée is used as a replacement for both eggs or fat but your recipe has butter, and egg and the pumpkin purée in it. So could it technically be made without the the egg and butter ? The reason why I'm asking is because I am vegan. I was just hoping to make this recipe without dairy or eggs.
Hey Janet & Greta! Thanks for the recipe! I make it every week! It's a real crowd pleaser. I was wondering what brand of skillet you're using in this recipe? Thanks :)
I love you two 4-evah! 😍😍😍😍😍 I was in my early 20s when your first book came out. I was living on my own for the first time, and I basically used your first book to teach myself to cook. I cannot over emphasize what a novice I was at the time. Most of the time, when I would decide to take on a new recipe, I had to buy the necessary kitchen equipment along with the groceries required. My cupboards and drawers were bare. But that's how my kitchen grew! Twenty years later, my life is very different. I am a married mom of two boys. My kitchen is well stocked by now, and my skills have progressed beyond the novice level. And now, I have all four of your books on my bookshelves. They have all been well used and well loved. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I live in the US now because I am married to an American. And honestly, I did not realize that this fourth book is only just about to launch here in the states. Why? Because I bought it ages ago online. Yes, I stalk Amazon.ca on a regular basis to keep up with you two. 😊 Thanks for all that you have given me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
