Maybe change your PCV valve that can usually cause the engine vibration and hesitation on this specific engine. I did so with mine and it fixed that exact issue.
Hi all, Im based on Australia! I recently bought a set of Evo 9 Enkei rims, it has some scratches on the face of the rim and im planning to do some touch up paint. Im hoping if anyone could help identify the colour spec of the OEM Evo 9 enkei rims (as shown in the video) Thank you
People doing the job themselves from watching my video are probably going a better job than half the flat rate mechanics who don't care about your car.
You make it look easy! How much power is the silver 8 pushing?? I forget.. all that dirt track practice paying off! I race the 4 cyl circle track when i was younger lots of fun! I never took my evo to spectator drags to sketchy... my friend too his sr20 swapped s13 vs a cammaro and dude bumped him on turn 4!
@@jo-qp7mz my silver evo is pushing 375 all wheel horsepower. Taking any car spectator racing is certainly a risk. But this track (Norway Speedway) does a good job of keeping it clean and discouraging any contact. However this evo was hit by a corvette once at a spectator race at a different track. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lO4t10gImBw.htmlsi=Ars0Q6PzybqE7pIf
Thanks 👍🏾 I just needed the mirror part, the carwash destroyed my mirror. I ordered the part from the dealership and watched your video, then popped it right in, thanks it was hard to just find a short video with the mirror instal, verses the entire part holder/mirror. 😁 the dealership wanted to charge $90 bucks 😩
2022 RAV 4 and it worked perfectly! I thought I'd have to take it back to the dealership because I couldn't close my glovebox. Thank you so much!! You saved my half a day driving to the dealership and waiting for service. They must not have put the filter cover on properly when I had it in for 30,000 mile service.
Thank you. I think I would have been screwing around with this for a while since it would have never occurred to me that I would have to take out the entire air box to replace the filter.
I had a 98' with the 3.8 high output v6 van did 36ft burnout 4 transmissions and 2 headgasket before 160,000😂 I switched to Chryslers or dodge they really take a beating
I just did this 22 MYLR. I also didn't have to remove the speaker, but I did remove the light. This allowed me to move that piece out of the way. I did find this to be a huge PITA because my filters were jammed inside there. The bottom one took a lot of force to get loose. I'm sure it'll be easier next time since I was more careful about placing the filters but if round 2 goes like that I will never do it again. The HEPA was considerably easier to change and honestly after 2 years of driving I don't think I even needed to change mine. The HEPA was absolutely disgusting though.
Just an FYI for some that are maybe running into a snafu... some year or trim models (pre 2016 mostly?) do not have a cabin air filter. There's an outline the shape of the opening but no door. There's a kit you can buy with a filter and a door and you have to cut out the panel following the outline groove (a hot knife works best but a good sharp exacto or utility knife can do it).
Thanks for this comment. I’ve been trying to figure out how to take this cabin door off for along time, and I decided to read the comments and ran across yours. I really appreciate this comment because I was struggling 😂
My cousin has this car, I have a few questions. His car ran okay sometimes would misfire and I noticed some oil started appearing on his spark plugs. He replaced the valve cover gasket, did exactly what you did and when he started up his car it started to smoke white clouds out the exhaust. Any idea why? The smoke smells like oil, doesn’t over heat, somewhat goes away but when you rev it, it comes back. Runs perfect absolutely no issues besides the smoke. Is there something he missed or needs?
this video guidied me through my clutch job on my evo 4. IMPORTANT: when removing transfer case from trans it will fall all the way down. if I was holding it that thing would've smashed my head. overall though the video is relatively the same process.
Looks like you are having a great time running spectator racing. I really like your comments at the end of the video, the way you Leave ego and sarcasm behind. Talking trash is a wast of time and does nothing to further the sport. Many years ago, I was friends with and worked at the 141 speedway in Francis Creek when it was a blacktop track. I never raced there, but we did take some of our projects out on the track and played around with them. It was good fun. Keep up the good work.
