Welcome to our channel, we’re so stoked you’re here 💛
We are the Collinge family. Devon (dad) & Jill (mom), along with our littles Ella, Clifford, Estelle & Cohen. Through our adventures, daily living, all the ups and downs, we're learning to live each day to the fullest- with a little extra!
Estelle brought us into the world of Down syndrome when she entered our family and surprised us all with her extra 21st chromosome. Since her birth we've discovered the amazing beauty in the extra and the different. Together as a family we strive to advocate for all abilities, and do our part in creating a more accepting world.
If I saw your little girl in public I would never have known she had Down syndrome. There are so many actors, models, and dancers that have Down syndrome. She is beautiful!
In my personal opinion having driven a high roofed sprinter for a period of 7 years is this.. the high roof is great if you're using the van for transporting cargo. The high roof does have some drawbacks, it won't fit in most parking garages or most drivethroughs. Trees can also be an issue too. The lower roof would be more fuel efficient, less surface area for wind to push you around (that is a big issue for sprinter vans and I assume it would be slightly less of an issue on the short roofed models.) and it costs less. No you can't stand straight up but being slightly hunched over isn't bad especially when you consider the short roofed sprinter is already way more roomy compared to a regular minivan or even an SUV. Just my personal opinion albeit I haven't driven a short roofed model. All those 7 years of driving the high roofed model I wished I had the low roof one. I would get asked constantly from family members to move things for them.. it gets exhausting after awhile.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I follow your videos as they are really inspiring for my family. I have a daughter with down syndrome that recently spent 1 month at the hospital, the diagnosis wasn't clair but the doctors suspected of HLH. We made all the genetic tests at the hospital and waited for the results during 2 weeks (we live in Switzerland but as it is a rare disease the test are made in Germany). I read a lot of information about it and as you can imagine we were really afraid. Finally it wasn't that and my daughter is doing well now. It is a very dangerous disease that needs more research, and people awareness is very important. From the bottom of my heart, I send you all the love. Thank you for sharing your feelings, our prayers are with you and your family.
Oh wow! I’m so fascinated that we have these 2 rare connections, and yet I am so thankful that your daughter does not have HLH! The more we learn about it the more scary we realize it is. We hope we can help raise awareness and more will be done in the future to prevent babies dying. It’s truly been the most unimaginable loss. Thank you for reaching out 💜
They don't put visor mirror just maybe because is safety reasons, it's a van if you putting makeup while driving and you're kids on van with you, just think
That’s ok. I think it’s very common to assume SIDS at her age. HLH is very rare, and most people have never heard of it. We hadn’t heard of it until this happened.
@@TheExtraFam someone in the vid said they 'didnt want to give awawy too much information about them" yet it shows their kids. someone not trying to give awawy to much info wouldnt post videos of their kids.
I have a full size SUV but I am having so many. Abuse and I am about ready for a 12 passenger…my husband laughed but this one is nice …I just sent him this video
It’s funny because I wanted the full size SUV (the suburban, to be exact) and my husband is the one that talked me into this 😄 I hope this video helps.
Great! Video! I’ve driven a very work protected sprinter for 7 years and it’s was more basic than this and not super cozy but it was an awesome vehicle. Do you know if apple CarPlay work with this sprinter?
Awesome choice! This is my favorite van. Is this the diesel or gas version? Also how much did it come out to with all the sweet features and options? A little more of the exterior would really help not many of them come this loaded!
people are usually blown away to see the features we have inside. My only wish is that we could have gotten the high roof, it just wasn’t available. It is a diesel, that was a must for us. With the way the market is and how hard they are to find, we had to pay over msrp, and we got the warranty, so all that added it was about $80K
Just try to remember that if it’s possible, if you pack up any Princess Dresses when going to any Disney Park, be sure to include the following 3 if you have them. 1: Elsa Dress 2: Rapunzel Dress 3: Aurora Dress
