I’m one of the guys in the middle ground but no one pays much attention to us. 😂 I don’t do much vintage & don’t do a ton of ultra modern other than some current New York & Puerto Rican players. I still like collecting some junk wax rookies & stuff of my favorite players from that era. Also mid to late 90’s/early 2000’s inserts. Also been picking up some 90’s NBA sets that I liked as a kid and I’m enjoying looking through them. I just do what I like & don’t get involved in the constant fighting between the different collector groups. By the way, that looks like a really nice area. Would love to walk around there. 😄
Thanks Orlando, I could listen to you talk about the hobby all day. You are 100% on the gambling. We are getting closer to living in Biff's world from "Back to the Future".
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Orlando. I would like to see more talk about players beyond the inner circle HOFers. The history of the game and collecting is more than just them.
It's disgusting to watch videos of people just FLIPPING cards until they "hit", immediately rambling about the price and expected grade. My 9 year old daughter wants a vintage Mickey in ANY CONDITION!!!
Hey Orlando, it was great hearing your voice and thoughts on the hobby. Can’t wait to see your pick up that you gave the teaser on. You know I love 1800’s cards ! 😂
Really enjoyed this segment, Orlando. I have a Goldsmith Sporting Goods Ad Sign featuring the great Luque. One of my favorite pieces, it features a fantastic Conlon image of Luque in his follow through. Loved hearing the story of him and Wilbert Robinson “taking care” of the nasty fan… Thanks for the great history lesson!
You had some AMAZING pickups Orlando! Love the Mays Hires w/ tab and the Walter Johnson auto…..wow. So glad I got to see you again in Cleveland brother!
Thanks for the great info. The cards are beautiful. I'm trying to collect a card from every member of the Reds HOF and recently picked up a Yuengling's card that I showed you at the National. I read up on Adolfo and was amazed at how good he was.
It was said Dolf didn’t die because of a lack of heart. I had the 1934 Giants stratomatic team several years ago and Dolf was my closer. Love Goudey the most. Thanks for sharing.
There's always a history lesson in your videos, Orlando. I know more about Cuban players from you than any other source. Beautiful cards!! Thanks for sharing.
Great cards Orlando, sadly he gets forgotten since people seem to forget guys not elected to the HOF, silliness and short sighted imo. I’ve been looking for a certain Luque card for a while but having a lot of difficulty finding it. Thanks for sharing
Like #28! Great VR for a great guy in this community. Always love seeing your cards, such exquisite taste in cardboard and I don't mean taste as in Pepino man lickable taste tester extraordinaire 🤣 Great shoutouts! Definitely going to be checking the ones I'm not subscribed to out and thank you for sharing, enjoyed as usual 👍👍until next time, have a wonderful day Orlando ✌out
Finally got around to watching this recap Orlando! Highly enjoyed seeing your pickups and hearing about your experience at the show. That Willie Mays Root Beer is incredible. Beautiful example!
