MERCI pour la beauté de la célébration avec Mgr l'Ancien et les merveilleuses prises de vue de qualité ! Prayers in koinonia with the Church of God in Pembroke and fr. Lukas. Big kisses of gratitude from Gatineau, QUÉBEC ... XOX
Clapping at the end of a liturgy is a spontaneous expression of joy. “All you people’s clap your hands”. Old Testament. Maybe if some of the bitter critics of the Novus Oreo were more joyful and not so filled with negativity they would be more credible. Joy is the most infallible sign of the presence of God. That is attributed to St. Irenaeus.
Bishop O'Brian was the one that celebrate and confirm me at Our Lady Of Lourdes. I wonder what he was thinking when they assign him back to this diocese to do this special mass especially when he lead this diocese before.
Than you Father Ouellette. What a wonderful presentation and a blessing that I can share with my family and friends. Thank you also to Deacon Adrien for his ministry.
It has been an honour to have Monseigneur Desrochers as our shepherd. His love for Christ is visible in his gentle, loving and honest teachings. God bless you Monseigneur. We will miss you. Such beautiful music for this thank you and ‘au revoir’ mass.
Thank you for amazing copy of today celebration ... I have say this many times in our social media platform for this diocese but It sadden me to see him go. I think in his short stay in the diocese he made an impact in a positive way and you can tell with Father Smith address at the end. God bless Bishop guy with traveling mercies, and opportunities to grow the faith in Moncton. There are several things I pray for an amazing shepherd that will help with the vocation crisis, more evangelization and show more of the Catholic faith on the streets.
There are times I wonder why we don't have the sacrament of anointment of the sick more often in our celebration of the mass once in a while. So we experience a healing touch from the Lord or signs and wonder in a faith life. This might bring more people in the faith if things like these happen. Only time I see this sacrament is when someone is dying and they call it the last rite. Just thank you Diocese of Pembroke for displaying these celebrations that we all can see in our huge diocese.
A big thank you to all the amazing singers who were part of the choir for the 125th anniversary mass. And to trumpeter Stephan Grasmuck and violinist Kirsten Waymann for sharing their wonderful gift of music. The choir was truly outstanding. Excellent!
Un message apaisant qui parle simplement, réellement de la lumière du Christ dans notre vie... quand je/nous parvenons à nous tourner pour voir et accueillir cette lumière. Merci pour le message et les images touchantes.
