I mean, look.... you can't expect any crazy numbers. A B20 is only, what..... 140 horses (flywheel)? So slapping on a VTEC head and getting 200 horses from it is about as good as it's going to get, and that is to the wheels too!
It's tough to put down big numbers at Lawrences dyno! I've had Lawrence tune a number of different cars and results always a bit lower then what I expected but his tunes are good. My B20v put down 206hp there.
201hp !!!! With supposedly ported head and cam etc, on b20v !!! Nooo way !! Smh there's 2 things goin on here, 1 is thats just a bone stock b20v with nothing more than that or 2 that tuner has a crack problem 😳!!!! Guessing thats 201whp which puts it at about 225-230hp at flywheel which still isnt ported head/cam level of hp but cams only b20v motor, either way bro 200hp will put a smile on your face and should move it pretty decent definitely need to be on b16 or gsr tranny but going in right direction nicely done.
I think you should open your motor to do some compression ratio test numbers and recheck all your proper stuff before going to the dyno so you don't have to spend a lot of time there. It get expensive for dyno time. All motor should be a quick tune like yours if the tuners gets all the proper info. the block is not so much work besides strengthening it, It's the head work where it'll be because of fuel and air ratio mix coming in.
Nice set up Roy_cls 200hp wow good shit! b16/b20 set up is perfect let’s keep the B series alive lol whats your RPM LIMIT SET TO care to share? Might be a little too soon to ask, but what are your future goals for the eg? Can’t wait to see short RIP video! 👍
Oh bummer I was looking for a real GTO transmission Swap! Oh well I keep looking for the 60's Pontiac Transmission swap. Thanks for sharing anyways I'm sure someone can use this video. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
