I remember going down the hill at night as well but without a flashlight lol. Although I was an idiot and went down the forested part with the gravel path instead of down the front side of the hill which takes way less time and seems like a much nicer walk
The deer definitely aren't "totally wild", but I understand that in the rush of happiness in seeing them, that you got a bit carried away. They are quite nice to look at, but a bit of a hassle for the people who live there.
Congrats on doing Daecheongbong from the outer Seoraksan trailhead. We were hiking there late October 2018 also. Plan to return when COVID travel is okay. Adding Daecheongbong and Dinosaur ridge (Gongnyongneungseon) to the bucket list. Funny how everyone hits that burger joint after hiking there.
I had really bad experience using bead board for paneling in my conversion. They off gas a lot during hot summer. It's horrible to smell and harmful for your health. I ended up replace all of them with tonguing groove cedar board. Although it's bit more expensive and a lot heavier, definitely worth the benefits.
Hmm interesting…we used high quality beadboard and had no experiences with any offgassing or vapors, so maybe it was the type you used? Plus, it’s significantly thinner than tongue-in-groove cedar board and headspace is pretty important when you have a 6’4 husband lol
Ahhh hello teacher!! I am Seohyun Moon from Michuhol☺️ Watching this video reminds me of your last day in MCH😭 I really loved the time with you! Miss you❤️🥲

That high & tight haircut is looking military af. Looked like a pretty sick park but the shoulder injury the Ilya dude got was rough. Lol @ mountain carting, that actually looked pretty fun too. Nice video.

the rent is ₩450,000 won a month, or about $375 USD. However as per my contract, my employer pays ₩400,000 and I pay ₩50,000 so it only cost me about $42 dollars a month...hope this helps ^^

They were absolutely amazing and Kerri really sees the whole picture in terms of providing a living to the mahouts' families, hearing the concerns of local farmers, and of course providing a safe haven for the elephants. Would definitely recommend an experience with them! (but bring deworming medicine :P)
