7:56 this backdrop of the western town was used in the original film Way Out West in 1937. They found it somewhere in a warehouse cleaned it and used it again for this rendition.
Tonight, love me tonight. Reach out your hand to me, Tonight, love me tonight. Please, hold me tenderly. Yesterday all my hope seemed to flee away. But you came, and my dreams is the song I play. Make me forget all my tears, And dry away all my fears. Tonight, love me tonight, The way I’m loving you. Tonight, love me tonight, That’s all I want from you. Solitaire was my name. I Used to feel so lonely. Sitting there was my game, crying for you only. Make me forget all my tears And dry away all my fears. Tonight love….me tenderly, Make me forget all my pain, or let me be happy again. Tonight love…..me tenderly.
both steve coogan and john c. reilly did a remarkable job portraying their respective roles. but reilly was just fanatistic as the over weight and struggling hardy. he completely transformed. i could barely recognize him. but i do wish they would've included some scenes back when they first met and, later, when they first formed their iconic duo. also, with the absence of time references the viewer had no idea the actual year these events were taking place. overall a very enjoyable film. thanks for the upload.
@@bradbobhayhurst8604 ... i just watched "stan" on youtube. very interesting film. thanks for the recommendation. all these actors do such a good job displaying these legands as normal people with flaws and problems behind the joy and laughter they created onscreen.
I only just discovered this singer and simply had to listen to him singing my favourite Christmas song! Well done! 👏👏👏 The voice is attractive, radiant, clear and free, the tenor absolutely worth listening to! ⭐️ Thanks a lot for the beautiful post! 🙏🍀
I am 60, Stan died when i was 2, but i kinda grew up with Stan and Ollie. I still watch them every now and then. Today i saw this movie and got to know them. Kinda. It`s beautiful and it makes me sad at the same time. Great movie. Great actors. Great Stan and a great Ollie.
I be got one of these it was my mums she worked at the M.o.D ministry of defence in London for like 30 years she had this radio for as long as I can remember . Think it’s 1972 she always joked and said that the radio was one year older than me and I was born in 73 . It still works in great condition. Been trying to find out if it’s worth anything and found this video. Do you know anything about it or its value?
Thank you for uploading this movie. It was heartbreakingly beautiful. I cried and I giggled. There was so much love and respect there. I was born in the 80’s, but I grew up watching their movies. Babes in toy land or march of the Woden soldiers, was my favorite as a child and still is. The joy these still bring me is something I will always carry with me. Even my 17 year old son loves laurel and Hardy. I had to share the joy these two brought me with my children too. This movie is a master piece and deserves so much more recognition. So powerful. ❤️
Thank you for uploading this beautiful movie. It really makes me so emotional. Remind me the good old days of my father and i used to watch their movies when i was just a kid. My father loves them so much. He doesn't know english language but he understood the way they perform all their movies. And sometimes i have to interpret it to him. What an awesome of their comedy tactics. They will never be forgotten.
