A detachable blade (like the #2 used at 10:36 in the video) can be used *against* the grain on waves? I am always nervous about going against the grain with the clipper when debulking on anyone with waves.
I haven’t really listened to you fully. I know who you are. I never ever met you and today I got a really good understanding and the 10 is a real thing and if you follow the 10 consistently and I mean consistently overcoming challenges remaining teachable if you’re the smartest person in your circle, it’s time for a new circle each one teach one follow the 10 even if you have to go through the trenches self-confidence’s is the key every day growth is the goal. Blessings like I said I never really listen to you before I was gonna watch the movie Marv and you having a discussion. I think it was podcast. That’s what it was. It was on RU-vid, but it had to industry. I believe the video is still out there so I’m gonna go watch that because this video shows me I miss something there. Blessings and have a great day, brother.
Will I’m working two jobs so I can save up to move down to ATL from PA and learn at your school. Just figured I’d let you know you inspired me to start my new journey. 💯
Agree with the barber, putting in a line with the edge of the clippers makes it more difficult to get the fade right. But it’s surprising how many barbers do that. That’s a very skillful fade.
Thanks for consistent teaching and content! As a new barber, seeing the steps multiple times on different heads and textures makes it make sense more and more each time! Congrats on the Academy!
Did my first cut on myself using your methods came out great i could blend the other side a little better but my wife was shocked on how well i did do you have anything open for military GI bill for your school
Speaking on the subject of haircut design and placement, the one thing I find interesting is the models ear location. Normally I would start my first level around the top of ear for this type of haircut, but the model’s ears are little further back than most people’s (in my opinion). Having a vision of your cut even before you start cutting is very key. Fire tutorial as always 🔥.
i do get bored with the way i fade because it does seem to easy so i sometimes go back to the first way i learned to fade just to remember the technique cause there has been a few times that it could really help me in a haircut.
thats my favorite way to fade i hate when i see people putting guidelines in hair. i understand that putting guidelines in the hair and fading up is the most basic way to learn. but this way youre fading is a way more advanced way to fade. you did the temps like i do the temps.
I use whatever companies send me nowadays… the FxOne is what I used in this video… my all time favorite is the wahl magic clip… they have a new updated black one I need to get lol….
@@WillStamm hilarious. I have a magic clip. Gonna upgrade to the fX. Hopefully they have it in silver. I hate gold color. But thats what i mean...yiu can do vids on clippers trimmers shavers also zero gaping cleaning changing lithium to a new one cause my clip is dyimg. But def the most impoetant thing is ....the same cuts as many times as you can lol. But with twusts...chinese hair afro blond red heads lol. Also clip math with andis wahl or anything new. And the new buotique clippers. Thats a ton of content!
I have this same texture hair. I really appreciate the tutorial bro. I have trouble sometimes making both sides look the same when I execute the same steps. I learned about reducing by going with the grain to flatten the fade area before executing the fade steps in your video. I appreciate you good Sir. Dope content and dope barber! 💈💯🙌🏾🔥
