I'm a service engineer in the UK. I will show a day in the life of a heavy plant engineer explaining jobs from my point of view. There is also opportunity to show the latest plant and machinery with how to set them up and more !
There's going to be shortages of everything you can think of because the supply of cheap oil and gas the EU has been running on is now gone,,Because they sanctioned and attacked russia ,,And all because the dictator criminals who rule over us in the EU jumped on board project Ukraine at the Biden admin, bequest ,And to arm Ukraine to the teeth ,overthrow the democratically elected government of Ukraine,,In the midan coup,,Install a puppet government and use Ukraine as a proxy,,Which the USA has been planning since 2013,,Then the USA blew up nordstream,,Which is actually German sovereign property,,which is an act of war on Germany,,So we can all thank the USA for the industrial demise of Europe,,Now were buying the same Russian oil and gas as before,,But from third party Turkey and India at 4 times the price,,,
Those little hatz engines wont charge if the isolator key is removed or falls out after starting al,the regulator needs an earth to work properly.Ive also came across ground workers removing the ignition key to use on other plant 😂 whilst running and it cuts the ignition feed to the regulator.
Glad you liked the bits bud if you need anything else dont hesitate to message me and i totally agree with you about the micro diggers the are a nightmare especially the hydraulic hoses
There's a up side to the quick hitch job, you've done the hard work of freeing everything so at least you know it'll come apart when the ramp is here!😉
Ali, Is it normal for some sludgy material to be stuck to the magnet on the axel drain plugs of a 420 shovel. 1500hrs so the second axle oil change. What’s your first thoughts?
I’ve Used WD40 on plastics brings them up Bonnie if they haven’t gone too far Blow torch works as well one of the small ones not a felt sweating torch lo 😂 Nice vid as usual
Great video Ali! Try a hot air gun on ur mirrors carefully! Do u see a clip on RU-vid or Facebook someone doing seats in a football stadium with a flame gun it made a hell of a good job at bringing plastic back to life
A new van,,Probably 45k worth,,And a Mercedes at that,,And the plastics are so cheap and flimsy that the coating has come off,,,,,If it's still under warranty ,,Bring it back and get them to replace all the outer plastics for new ones,,,,How come back in the late 90s you could buy a car with black plastic on it and the plastic would last 10 year before it started to discolour ,,,I taught technology was supposed to move on and get better with time,,,,,,If the plastic is this crap and cheap just imagine what the rest of the components are like,,,,
Those wiper blades are a perfect example of everything that's wrong with new cars and vans,,,,,,Wiper blades were universally the same on every car brand,,,It worked perfectly for decades with no problems,,,And it was super simple,,,So what do manufacturers do when something is simple easy and has worked perfectly for years,,,,,They change it of corse,,Make it as technical and difficult as possible ,,And it has to be made flimsy and cheap,,And double the price of corse,,,No wander all new cars are shitboxes,,
Use a blow torch to bring back your mirror plastics. Also why do you remove the positive battery terminal first and not the negative one first as the machine's are negative chassis? Great videos as always. Adam in Dorset
Hi Ali, good video, the wee pry bar tool is and excellent tool for any and every job but just watch its easy to bend them as there are not that strong, but for undoing electrical plugs and picking out pebbles from recessed bolt holes its great. If you had opened the parcel before doing the van wipers the wee pry bar would have helped in pushing the middle tab down and made the job easier😉
I use autoglym bumper and trim gel for my wing mirrors on my van which is the same as yours bud cracking video as always bud cant wait for you to receive my box of bits
top tip to make the plastic look fresh use a liquid shoe polish the one with sponge built into the top of bottle works wonders use it all the time on my old transit rub it in then quick buff over works on bumpers too try it ur be amazed mate
Evening I used a small blowtorch on my car bumper and also on plastic trailer mudguards came up like new again still perfect 8 months later. I seen them doing the plastic seats in the football stadium with a bigger torch and thought I’d give it a try worked a treat
Another great video! Just wondering Al, how dose that fan belt fit on? Do you have to remove the van to get the belt on or dose the belt fit over the whole fan and onto the pulley? 🤷♂️🤔 Keep up the good work!
Is there a temperature control on the air con are the operators setting it to low and freezing it up making it flood liquid to the compressor and damaging the valves
Its great that you can speak to your colleges for some valuable information. Saves a wasted journey. Not fun doing a service in the rain but even better when the driver helps you ..top man . Pleased you like your presents .enjoy them 👍👍👍👍👍👍
My sprinter plastics are suffering the same discolouration as yours. I was recommended Chrome Trim Gel, I’ve used it and it definitely works but needs reapplying at least once every 4-6 weeks and for 24 hours it does attract dust, not so much of a problem now we are out of summer.
