great video man...the daytime shots of the cemetery were the old Madison cemetery only the nighttime cemetery shots were the Rutledge cemetery in town behind house's...Movie magic...
Flynn's living quarters above the arcade floor were shot there at the location. I remember reading in one of my several Making of Tron books how happy the filmmakers were to stumble on that location as it was perfect and allowed them to shoot boith the arcade sequences and plan-hatching scenes without needing to create two sets.
Amazing work , bro I am from South America Chile , anyways I wanted to share I did the mistake of trying to research real horror , secret society all was about esoteric doctrine and this was a fancy name for witchcraft or satanism, because I was an atheist saw no danger in getting as many books as I could , big mistake after some time real paranormal phenomena manifested. I realize after much denying I was wrong , the secret I give for free to any person who listen to me , this existence is artificial, there is another dimension and that place is the hell of the Bible , that is the secret , ever hear curiosity can kill , I almost die being strangle in a dream , it was terrible in the end at the last moment I try to say in the name of Jesus Christ, I felt how a presence enter my room , I woke up almost death , Jesus saved me . I warn you is extremely dangerous to have any occult book , demons are energy entitys and can try to influence the human mind or even posses the person , also after death is we don’t die , the energy part of the consciousness is the soul it survive death but a judgment come , if tte persons believe in Jesus and repent , forgive others , the person can be forgiven. Been to Santa Cruz boardwalk many times when I was stationed at nearby Fort Ord I remember them filming in 86 or 87 because i was an extra in some of the beach scenes one of them did not make the film
I was told it was a campus offshot in an actual reservoir in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Actually, the Bog Lake is its origin in Waltham, Massachusetts. No body found?

I love this movie (and place).Im from south america and turned to be in SC back in 2001...visited the boardwalk and noted something was familar about that place...but I wasnt aware I was at the very same location I had seen in the movie as a child...crossed my mind that it could be the filming location but for the entire time I hung there I was never sure that was actually the place..shame!!!
Hello Jason i am from Singapore i am coming 40 this year in august. Honestly i was 8 years old in 1990 when i first watched the lost boys on tv with my entire families. My late grandparents my mother my younger brother my uncle and his ex wife and his son. Here in Singapore for example the lost boys was released in 1987 it will be shown on tv after 3 or 4 years later. So that night when i watched with my families it was really CHAOTIC! I remember it was shown at 10:30 pm but before it started we were telling ghost stories! Ha!ha!ha telling ghost stories was preparing before the lost boys start. And when it started my late grandpa switched off all the lights in the house it was total darkness. So when i discovered your video revisiting the lost boys movie location brings me back the memory when i first watched the lost boys with my families. Now my grandparents had passed away 😭 my cousin that watched together with me is now married with 3 children. My uncle remarried. To be very honest i think the lost boys is 1 of the most nostalgic vampire movie of all times. Even the younger generation that are born after the movie they know about the movie

Nice vid. Flynns office actually seems a mezzanine inside the arcade on the ground floor, not on the office floor. You can see it during the arcade scene where they discuss inside and watch down to the arcade cabinets.
Was the Alice in Wonderland dark ride down for refurbishment when you were there? That ride is unique to Disneyland and exists nowhere else in the world. It’s a favorite of mine.
It pays to note that Pinocchio’s Daring Journey exists at Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland. I’ve ridden the one in Paris. Got to visit in 1999 when the park was just celebrating it’s 7th birthday. If you ever get a chance to visit Disneyland Paris, DO IT. Disneyland in California and Disneyland Paris are the two best Disneylands ever built, and the the Paris park is the most beautiful Disneyland ever built. The whole thing is an homage to the original. Tony Baxter was in charge and it is his masterpiece (even though the Walt Disney Company has screwed a few things up, like taking out the original “de la terre à la lune” version of Space Mountain, and renaming the “Blue Lagoon” restaurant in Prates of the Caribbean, to “Captain Jacks” 🙄).
TRON. Released Summer, 1982. Such a great year. E.T., Poltergeist, Tron and Blade Runner all came out that summer. I was 14 yrs old and it was my Freshman year of high school. Late 1970’s up until 1985 was such a great and FUN time to be a kid/teen. I wish I could go back.
I used to go to this every year when I lived in GA as a little kid. Now I'm living back at my home country but GA will always be my second home. And it's almost christmas. I really miss this. Thx for the video.
This was totally cool! Only the ones that enjoy filming locations could really appreciate this. I go with my nephews frequently to filming locations. There’s just something about it that is fun and adventurous. I know you’ve been on here a while so I’m new to your subscription however look forward to other filming locations that you may go to!
