New subscriber, very cool. Are you using flux core for your frame welds? I noticed the titanium welder sitting there and did not see any gas, just wondering if flux will suffice for a job like this?
@@WhiskeyDents interesting. I have been researching this lol. So, I have an older Clarke mig and then I have my cheapo harbor freight flux. I need to rewire my plug for my Clarke and I haven’t used it in so long I don’t know what to expect out of it. I saw another guy using the titanium straight flux for a frame, on paper it looks like it could handle it but I was just looking to see what other people had done
@@zachg8591 mine will weld up to 1/4 inch it will definitely hold but if I were you I’d notch the frame and gusset it for strength. Burn it hot. You’ll be fine
Can't see the truck but it's a Cummins and the Jake brake lash sets at .018 . It's a NT or N14 , If I could see the truck I would tell you what model of Cummins it is .
You can keep the $9 Starbuck coffees. We Canucks will stick with our Timmy's.....iconic. And who can turn down a pack of Timbits!! Great to see Glenn giving you some help. Have been looking for Glenn's channel; for a while. Found it and subbed. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Man if i was only closer i would be there as fast as i could borrow a truck to get there.lol There's a guy out by me that put a Cummins in one and vintage air.
My dad was supposed to give me one of two of those, ared one and a white one he was working on them in 2008 but he passed and my distant family sold it. My dad probably didn’t tell them he wanted me to have them. But I remember it clear as day him saying he wanted to drive them together one day when I was older.
