I remember being at uni fucking friends off who were probably going somewhere like paramount to see snowman live off my face. My judgement certainly was NOT impaired, wise choice!
I danced so hard to this song one time you gave me a record I danced so hard. I never had a record player but it's safe in my dear friends collection. Song will forever destroy me. it's much too late to get out this this time.
You might be a better friend Still I can make it through what's left Into the hallway, I wasn't afraid Of my, my better days And I'm not functioning that well You slow down into some kid and you pray Somebody out in the dark was a knock But the door was unlocked I'm twilight driving, gotta watch out for the roos Well, it's the early morning, baby I said, "Why don't you hit the snooze?" We're twilight driving, gotta watch out for the roos Well, it's the early morning, baby I said, "Why don't you hit the snooze?" Pool and ocean, not so bad You fill your pockets full of empty friends You know you got a few left You gotta use 'em all up, is what she said Twilight driving, gotta watch out for the roos Well, it's the early morning, baby I said, "Why don't you hit the snooze?" Twilight driving, gotta watch out for the roos Well, it's the early morning, baby I said, "Why don't you hit the snooze?" Twilight driving, gotta watch out for the roos Well, it's the early morning, baby I said, "Why don't you hit the snooze?" I take two coffees for my breakfast And I hope for some real news Well, it's the early morning, baby And I only wanna be here with you
Well I was lost at sea Trying to make sense of the night What I needed was your love ---What I needed was your light But now there's been a change in me People say there's been a change in me And the way you turned to vapour on the way I know there's been a change in you too 'Cause now I'm coming home ---Steppin', into your light Lookin', into your light Steppin', into your light Lookin', into your light Again ----There's many ways that you can be a man But not all of them are kind This help began to save you, oooh Make up hard to find And it happened slowly You were thе dawning sun And I had it coming But I fought it so, so long Now there's been a change in mе There's been a change in you 'Cause now I'm coming home ------Steppin', into your light Lookin', into your light Steppin', into your light Lookin', into your light Again ----(Into your light, into your light) Into your light (Into your light, into your light) Into your light (Into your light, into your light) every day's another night (Into your light, into your light) stepping into your light Ooo, ooo
Does anyone know the background to the video they have used here? It looks like an older couples holiday (maybe even honeymoon) film from the late 60's early 70's, but I'm fascinated by where and when it was filmed and who they were.
Thanks very much for posting this. Just heard this on '800 Words', but the lyrics and volume were mostly obscured by the actors' dialogue - so glad I persevered, figured out some of the lyrics, and was able to find this. Love it.
WTF. I like the song by The Boxtops but there is just a section that sounds the same. Why the fuck do people need to bring them up every other comment? I'm 30 and love old shit and more interested in the newer stuff.
I think I listened to a little but it wasn't that crazy similar and I love this song sooo much. Maybe the boomers just don't realize that songs get ripped off way worse now or they are just crying about shit for no reason cause that is their life lol.
