How does the universe work? Are we alone? Will we ever establish a civilization on mars? Here we will find the answers to these questions and much more.
The multiverse theory always seems like a convenient excuse when we can’t explain something. It’s like saying, 'Oh, it must exist in another universe we can't observe!' Isn’t that just a cop-out for things we don’t understand? Until we have concrete proof, I think the multiverse should be treated with skepticism rather than celebrated as the next big thing in cosmology.
My favorite has to be the nature of black holes! The idea that they can warp space and time to such an extreme is mind-blowing. And who knows what happens beyond the event horizon? Some even think they could be portals to other dimensions or universes. What about you? What's your favorite mystery?
😑Due to the universe’s constant expansion, there are parts of the cosmos we will never be able to observe, and some scientists speculate that entire regions of space-time or even other universes might exist just beyond our observational reach.
That's such a mind-blowing thought! 😳 It's like the more we discover, the more we realize there’s so much we’ll never know. It makes you wonder - what kind of mind-bending phenomena or even life forms could exist in those unreachable regions? Do you think we'll ever develop technology that allows us to observe beyond our current limitations, or are some parts of the universe just destined to remain a mystery forever?
Poor assessment. Little technical consideration given to how technology can develop. Human biological limitations represent a greater barrier than any arguments presented in this video. low quality arguments.
if you have not figured out that we are inside a controlled system of sorts, .. a manufactured belief system of whats 'real' and not real, no worries, it doesnt really matter now anyways
In 1835, Auguste Comte, a prominent French philosopher, stated that humans would never be able to understand the chemical composition of stars. He was soon proved wrong. In the latter half of the 19th century, astronomers began to embrace two new techniques-spectroscopy and photography.
SpaceX is proving this wrong. Not saying it’s going to be cheap and there are still hundreds of unsolved problems ahead. But 500B$ sounds quite a pessimistic estimate
reality and fiction are two different things which never ever able to co exist. You can imagine things whatever you want but this doesn't guarantee that it will come true in reality. You have to deal with it.
Even though this is a a sobering realistic assessment, we are dreamers and an evolving adaptable species. 1st we need to live peacefully together. Then we need to continue to explore quantum physics & the use of ion canons, warp bubbles and shields for spacecrafts, build outposts and space stations within our own solar systems yo leap frog our way out over generations. We may not be recognizable forms of beings originating from human kind even if we are able to adapt to livibg and travelling in space before our planet becomes uninhabitable or is destroyed by some unforseen cosmic event. We may even become a species of biomechanical entities. So many possibilities. I am sure that at one time we were far to busy feeding ourselves, protecting ourselves from other predetory creatures on our planet, to even understand and concieve of the concept of outer space must less space travel. There is also the theory of interdementional travel in which jumping from one demention or frequency of being and back may ve possible. Then there is some evidence to suggest some of what we call aliens may have already figured out how to do this. Early humans may have considered these visitors to our time and reality to be Gods or higher entities, when in fact they are other more evolved and adapted entities or a future version of ourselves. Are we just petrie dish of creatures that are evolving and adapting. The future is unkown and this is a motivating factor fueling our survival instincts to adapt to our envirement or learn to change it. So long as we continue to dream and think outside the box, to expand the capabilities of our brains & conciousness and work together for the common good, then perhaps the possibilites are endless.
Incredible video, Offworld Academy. I loved how you explained the concept of spaghettification-it's such a mind-bending idea! Given the complexities of black holes and their interaction with space-time, do you think Hawking radiation might eventually offer insights into what happens at the singularity? Looking forward to your next upload!
If consciousness is a fundamental part of the universe, it would be amazing and would explain a LOT! I tend to think that consciousness is something that is ever-present in the universe that you can tune into once you become complex enough.
Since everything in the universe used to be in the same place, it’s not a giant leap to say that everything is still connected in some way. There are processes going on in dimensions that are orthogonal to ours that are opaque to us.
God says he is in all of us so of course this would all make sense if he is the maker, the one and only true God!!! Duh!! Why is this so hard for you physicist to understand
There are about 3000 different religions. Imagine if what people call God is actually just an alien that created life. Similar to us planting a garden and watching it grow.
It's amazing how something we can't even see directly has such a massive impact on the fabric of space! This video made me rethink everything I thought I knew about gravity.
Wow, this video blew my mind! 🤯 The fact that 95% of the universe is made up of something we can't see or fully understand is both terrifying and fascinating. It really makes you wonder what else is out there that we haven't even begun to discover. Incredible work explaining such a complex topic in a way that’s easy to follow. I’m definitely going down the dark matter rabbit hole after this! 🌌✨
