The feuding gangs that destroyed the city for 10 years or more are the ones who gave it a bad name. For such a small place (not much bigger than Tallaght) there was a lot of violemce and murder. Innocent bar men and rugby players getting murdered. And it was known as Stab City before those feuds. But it has cleaned up it's act since the garda got serious and locked up so many scumbags for a long long time. And that is good to see as you dont really hear anything about Limerick anymore.
