@@SnaponToolsJosephHull The joke is that all the "SnAp oN" fan boys state "WE NEED QUIALTY TOOLS TO DO OUR JOBS " only to build up tons of debt from buying the said tools. its a silly to me I guess.
@thedirtgod602 debt is how the world works no a days. Sorry you feel like that, but we are one of very few that can curtail our financing to our customers
@@SnaponToolsJosephHullSpoken like a true SALES MAn lol ...... Dont you feel sorry for me! you need to feel sorry for anyone, feel sorry for this younger generation...
@mohammedaliwathek5295 oh! That’s a bit far for a Snapon service call!! I’d say call our customer care! After payment for the update, they probably can send you a new micro usb to update it!
For the price there are better products with more option, launch, autel, topdon, there web base, you can add prodemand and others apps, at least match it up if your tryin charge an arm an a leg
@@SnaponToolsJosephHull for the price I can get all these 3 i mention, I use the snap on for data list and clearing codes, it’s great but for active test it lacks, bringing the window up and down is not a plus from snap on, it’s sad i had to ask people in the shop for autel , when they paid like $500 for it
Brilliant tools top of the range in my opinion. I was hesitant with the price by myself and a fellow tech bought a ratchet each as we got a good deal and wow changed my mind now i found myself buying more. Haha Great product and your a good rep. All the way from Auckland New Zealand
yep! You have to make an appointment with the company and only program new PCMs. make an investment of 3 dollars. for a company to program Buy only PCM, new units. and pay $300, after the investment in the 3 dollar machine.! no, no way.! Don't recommended.!
Me and my dad are getting this scanner this weekend and we’re hoping this will give us troubleshooting tests to help us solve better rather than parts guessing.
@@SnaponToolsJosephHull by any chance, does this scanner give you wiring diagrams or if you can add wiring diagrams to it? Does it give you a connector view to do pin to pin voltage check or location view of where (for example) an evaporator canister is located at? I apologize for so many questions
@fernandovillegas1278 not a problem at all!! It sounds like you’re explaining the Zeus plus! That has a guided component test, which gives you connector locations , along with wiring pinoutS! Along with that and it’s ability to search online, gives you whatever repair information you subscribe to!
@fernandovillegas1278 the Apollo is a great tool! You would be missing any component testing/information, you can still do functional tests and resets. You just aren’t able to test the individual components separately. If you’re looking for a happy medium, I would recommend the triton! We don’t have wiring diagrams, but you still get a two channel lab scope and all the component information that the Zeus has! Just not windows capable
Thank you !!! Brother for the heads up i was wondering how too use my torque angle . I have some head jobs comming up and i was doing them like old school whit the angle gauge and breaker bar my snap on dealer never explain me better how used i read rhe manual i was lost traying to set up my torque angle . Thanks a lot .
I bought a solus it was great till I updated it and then it became the worst scan tool in the world I could not even get into the cars I previously could I had several updates after that and it just got worse
What’s going on with it? Slowing down? Locking up? Sounds like a memory issue. If you use your scan tool multiple times a day, it creates a log in previous vehicles, every once in a while, you should clear the cache and it should speed your scandal up. Probably has nothing to do with the update, just unfortunate timing!
With the same update, they will both give you the same information, at least, bidirectionally, scanning wise, if you’re talking about speed, this one would be better!
I can’t promise it will do everything, but every program, relearn, and function on the scan tool has been purchased straight from the OEM! If you want to know, specifically, ask your franchisee, and he can check our application guide for specific tests
