I just made my very first Luer yesterday it is a very similar style plug to that it has a flat front on And the face of it tilts up somewhat like that and I painted it with a white belly green top and a red mouth/front flat piece
FUTURE is called Pledge now and you need to learn how to Airbrush if you want the results you are expecting. Also, why are you using a water based top coat for something you're going to put in the water?😂😂😂

Hi- brilliant video. Can I ask- what measurement are the crimps (sleeves) you're using there? (I assume they have a length and internal diameter in their description)? Also, I know the wire is 20lb strength, do you happen to know its diameter is? This isn't as important for me to know as the sleeves one though, so if it doesn't give a measurement on the package that's no problem!

I don't know what to do now what airbrush would you recommend? I do all kinds of different arts and crafts and drawings and paintings and stuff so I would need an airbrush that's multi-purpose or if I've got to buy several I'd buy several I just need to know what kind? One that will last longer than an hour. It's very disappointing like you said it's a Well manufactured gun I like the style of it the weight of it everything
I've never had this problem. It sounds like the powder and clear coat don't like each other. You must use an enamel or lacquer. I don't think an acrylic would work. I use Testors glosscote top coat. Hope this helps.
I used Rust-Oleum enamel spray for the primer and clear coat. I sometimes use acrylic wile brushing but prefer enamel. I now use UV resin or Epoxy for a clear coat.

This might be late and just came across your channel but how do you recommend cleaning the powder out after you finished the spraying? Can you flush the unmixed powder out with water or do you need to clean it with LT before water? Thank you!
Non mixed powder should clean up with hot water. Anything that has been mixed will have to be cleaned with a cleaner suitable for the clear coat you are using. Like a thinner or acetone.
I've watched a few of these videos. They all show making one of the wire shaft for a lure but they never include closing them off, this one too. Why? If you want to sell me these, show me the whole process. Plus I make these with round jewelry pliers and I never use more than 4 wraps, not necessary. Just an FYI
Not makeable for 80 cents anymore! Janns has those spinner blades 5 per bag for 5 bucks. So each blade is a DOLLAR. Blade clevis hook body beads piece of wire. probably close to 2 dollars each. However store tackle is 5 - 6 bucks per piece and UP, so if you lose a lot of tackle to snags it can be worthwhile.
Why does that not surprise me? Everything has gone up so much in price. It has been 3 years, but that still seems like a lot. Thanks for the heads up. I changed my video description.
