When you see Better Lovers live it's clear that their energy, verve and enthusiasm is natural, whereas these jokers are clearly trying to make it look like they have as much enthusiasm as they did playing this 25 odd years ago. So contrived and embarrassing. Everyone looks half asleep whilst Ben triples up on the theatrics. "Look! We're still 'spazz jazz!"
There's zero energy and Ben's antics are so corny for a 49-year-old man. Dmitri is just lethargically walking around. He looks like he's about to keel over. This is garbage.
@@mfmercface nah it’s a great album, calculating infinty, classic album, and as greg said “game-changing album” and the reason he wanted to be in the band
Dimitri should've really worked on his voice long before this tour started. He's only working with 30-40% of what it used to be. Disappointing is an understatement. He became everything the band fought against: a suburban dad/normal & boring.
@@VibeMusicAIGreg was already in Dillinger for almost a year before Irony is a Dead Scene came out. Greg was singing with them before they worked with Mike.
Doing drums for masterpieces of songs with a fella suffering from schizophrenia, and maybe making scores for movies if that's still a thing for him . I really miss him too , dood.
I heard that apparently someone who talked with the band backstage found out that setting up this show was a nightmare for them, as they didn’t have any time to practice or rehearse. This would probably explain why Dimitri looks so burnt out here.
His vocals sound like shit and he is completely off time - if you are a legacy band, there is no excuse for your audience knowing a song better than you who wrote it.
Greg was next level, so perfect for Dillinger. Still there are people who never appreciated him only cuz he's not the original singer, despite his priceless contributions and long-lasting leadership for the band, that makes feel like he's really the original.
