Problem is how much it is . Let’s get the elephant out of the room. Many of us don’t have the money or health insurance to own this device. I have MS and for me if I was to own this device I would be life changing but the cost .
I have a crushed deep peroneal nerve DPN between 1st and 2nd toe space from a fibula sesamoidectomy 20 years ago. (Dr said "We had to compress the DPN to get it out of the way during the procedure". Been living in constant pain like a hot piece of dental floss wrapped tightly around the 2nd toe.. Been living on Gabapentin 20 years daily 400 mg. cant wear any type of lace shoe or drive as sitting or laying on back of thigh\calf triggers it as well. Had a DPN head neurectomy 2014, 1.5" of nerve cut out as neurosurgeon recommended due to prior history of having RFA's. He said "The many RFA's likely turned the DPN head into a pin cushion and diseased the nerve head". He was right, pathology came back stating exactly that. The Neurectomy gave me some relief (After the post surgery recovery pain of 1.5 years subsided). I am seeing pain mgmt anesthesiologist next week to discuss StimRouter implantation. Can anyone please share experience\thoughts if a StimRouter can be implanted to effectively reach the pain between toe spaces? I am not diabetic, in good health and conditioning for a 60 year old. - Thank you.
The cost is the problem. Many of us don’t get back to the work force because of the injury. The device cost almost 7k without insurance or any monthly payments

I've had a spinal burst with shredded nerves in a semi accident 4 years ago I was paralyzed for almost a year but now after the last 3 years I threw physical therapy but I lost my balance and never regained it back and I wear a AFO brace on my right leg it's dead from the knee down would this work for me and not have to walk with crutches?
IF you want help with the system, don't waste your time here. This is a SALES pitch and does nothing for patients, it doesn't even give an overall price range. Useless. Bioventis gives patients a 100+ page "manual"-useless. It will tell you what the EPA ratings are (which mean zero to a patient) but it won't show you how to attach any parts or program the device. It's a pointless piece of crap that makes the device itself less popular among patients and clinicians. IMO, naturally. I've worn it *(thight cuff)* three times in the past year because it keeps falling off. I hate it. The L300 lower leg isn't too bad but it is easy to see and manage the straps. The thigh cuff? Garbage.
My menka Byrd I have a stroke in 1999 and my left leg is paralyzed and in Aug 2022 I broking my left ankle so I walk for 5 months in the boot my therapist said my ankle heal up now

Would it work for paraplegics ? I’m walking just no movement in the ankles & right foot just can curl my toes got foot drop on left foot since I got more movement on my right leg
@@miteshjain3561 if you want send me your phone number and I can send you pics of the skin irritation. The temporary 60 day implant with sprint worked great for me, but this Bioness permanent one didn’t at all due to skin irritation. I would look into Stimwave possibly instead. The Mayo Clinic doesn’t work with that device, but you wouldn’t get skin irritation with that. I just had another surgery after removing those, and it didn’t work either. Now I am looking into Acuenergetics for natural healing.
