I was in an Indiana insane asylum back in the early nineties for shooting my uncle in the chest with a Japanese rifle and my grandma brought me a walkman and the cassette of this album and other music magazines and it really got me through allot of the weird shit they would do to kids in mental facilities back then.
It's amazing how a song can take you back to another time. I remember when this was released, I bought the album then, the whole album is awesome and have been listening to it ever since, I'm 63 now.. I will always be listening to it.
It's sad to say but I didn't get into collective soul until after the 2000s and that was stupidity on my part. When music started going sour that's when I picked up on collective soul. Completely great band
One of the all time best band names in the history of music. Though they made some good music, the band never rose to the level of their name becoming the group they had the potential of being. Think Nirvana for example.
